For the guys:
I had a feeling I would like ass play so I went out and bought an anal vibrator. Rude-Boy prostrate vibrator but it is too intense and I cannot control my orgasm/ejaculation. I was hoping that over time I would figure it out.

Then I came across a thread here on butt plugs and here is a video that someone posted:

Is this really possible with a plug? Can someone describe how to do it and why it works without a vibrator. I googled and googled without much luck.

For the women:
And can women get the same effects without a vibrator - all the women I play with use a vibe for ass play, I wonder if I steered them wrong.

It takes patience and learning to control the muscles in and around your prostate but yes, it is possible....I've seen it happen. It was with an Aneros Progasm...that's not "just" a butt plug and it doesn't vibrate but if you use enough lube and have it placed correctly aganist your prostate....you can learn to use it properly.

Wow, that is something to forward to... do the guys use a condom? You know, to keep it clean?

I bought this toy Aneros Progasm for individual use....so no, it's his own toy to use whenever he wants...but they are hard plastic and can be boiled for cleaning.

Even for individual use it can get a little nasty I am sure.

holy crap, that's pretty impressive. looks fun!

How so? If you've had a bowel movement that day and clean the toy properly after, there shouldn't be any nastiness about it. If there is, well, poop and lube wash right off, and the right amount of heat or a bleach solution (whatever the manufacturer recommends) kills any remaining bacteria.

I'm a big advocate for using condoms for anal sex and with toys that can't be sanitized, but we've never had an issue not using a condom with a toy that can be sanitized. At most, there are a few flecks of poop on the toy (I do prefer darker-colored toys so these don't stand out). We remove it directly onto a kleenex or baby wipe, do a quick initial wipe down, then put it in the sink or dishwasher to be sanitized. It's not any nastier than cleaning yourself up after using the bathroom, really.

Thank you! My only experience has been with the rude-boy, the anal vibe I mentioned earlier. It is rubberized and retains the smell of poop. I was ignorant about the use of lube so that may help in the future.

But thank you for the direct answer. Helps a lot. Looks like the aneros is much easier to clean.

Rubber is porous, so if you can't sanitize it with heat or bleach, it'll be yucky. Same goes for jelly and cyberskin-type stuff.

If you can afford it, go for pure silicone, hard plastic (though there aren't many good toys, besides perhaps the Aneros line), stainless steel, pyrex/glass or a vinyl that can be sanitized. Otherwise, slip a condom on the toy, and you'll be good to go (we do this with our strap-on dildo, which is rubber).

Yes, rubber is porous and hard to clean :(

Very good information here, thank you!

Thanks, everyone! Just ordered an Aneros Progasm, excitedly awaiting it.

And getting rid of the rude-boy. Not all toys need to be battery operated, huh? Hard lesson for a techie to assimilate.

Not if they're powered by your muscles, as is the case with Aneros's products.

cleaners

in general, you shouldnt use bleach or household cleaners to lean your toys. look into a novelty toy cleaner, spray it on before use, wipe, and after use repeat. especially on silicone toys.

however, look into glass toys. they are expensive, but they never wear down, and they are fun to heat and chill ;)

Probably a good idea to use an enema if your that adverse to the poop factor involved.
