Lotta good stuff in front of Mt Rushmore. Who can argue about giving hardtime to the crooks that are fudgin' the numbers. Giving assistance to the folks that ranch and grow the crops cuz he knows what droughts can do to productivity. He said don't forget we are brothers and sisters, so treat your neighbor like you want to be treated. We are in a new kind of war, one where the enemy hides in caves and sends youngsters to suicidal deaths. Plus bills about Homeland Security shouldn't micromanage the Executive Office, not just for his sake but for future presidents. Little girls in Afghanistan are able to go to school because we knocked out the Tallyban. He said about congress, "They got to get together." Best of all, America is the Beacon of Freedom. The Bastion of Freedom. As well as the Protector of Freedom.

I'm inspired. He needs to fire the advisors and speech writers and speak more from the heart like he did today. That'll help cut out some of the excess government spending that he is obviously so passionate about.

Same sort of stuff he said in Waco a few days ago.

Poor George. He's probably too tired to think of new ways of saying things...or even of saying things that are new.

Clinton and Reagan both had some great speechwriters. I'm glad that the President gave a good speech today. It helps a person feel a little better.
