Bunkbeds

More of a scene idea than a full story but I like the idea of bunkbeds being used in a scene with one person up top being unaware or only hearing what the second person is doing.

I know in college our beds could be stacked into bunk beds and I had relatives whose dorms stuck to bunk beds. So it doesn’t have to be a home setting.

Also thought of a more surreal horror setting, maybe scifi where the bunksbeds are stacked six or more high and it’s a large room filled with those stacks and in the low light people can see shadows moving between the different stacks going up and down. And everyone can hear the squeaks of the beds and groans of the participants

I've heard of three high, but six high would require a crane,

I just finished the series Ride or Die, (a terrible title) with Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham.
In it, they spend a night or two in a hostel with a room with six or more two-high bunk beds. The bedrooms were gender specific, but the shower rooms were communal.
I could definitely imagine some same-sex scenarios with those bunk beds.
It could be a great straight-but-curious setting with some serious voyeurism.

great series. Watching it now. love that neither of the female buddies are barbies (and one is a person of colour). already wishing it was an erotic version where they make out.

Doesn't hurt that Bill Nighy has a small role. He is anything but a small actor.
