Pole Dancing Class Awakens Town

Town’s community center gets a pole dancing teacher who starts a class. At first it’s just a few curious students but soon it has a fairly decent sized group.

Relatives and friends of the group do notice the improved health and more positive attitude of the class but they still secretly see it as a joke.

Then the class has a big presentation for the town and despite the presentation not being intentionally sexual or erotic, the town can’t help but have some urges as they see the limber bodies working the poles.

For example:

Taboo: sons and nephews watch their moms and aunts and maybe sisters perform routines which show off their new more athletic physiques and the young men can’t help but start having some not so pure thoughts.

Lesbian/gay: sorority sisters/frat bros come to watch one of their members perform and seeing the routine gets them to have some thoughts that make them question their sexuality

I think the fun from the idea is having a scene where it’s inappropriate for someone to display their arousal and it would be seen rude if they leave so they are just trapped there exploring their thoughts

I like the basic premise of a pole-dancing teacher doing classes (presumably just for women) at the local community center, but not so much as the big presentation for the town.

The pole-dancing thing was/is something that was viewed as "acceptably naughty" and showed up on a lot of reality shows, esp. the ones involving "real housewives".

Maybe the teacher escalates things and has the women bring in their husbands (maybe only one shows; maybe they all do) for the lap-dancing sessions.

I love the fact that the town is getting wound up over the new “thing” in their community.

Beyond all the horny and curious townfolks, I’d like some drama. Conservative lady on the town council is out to stop things, but nothing she tries. works. So she goes to another city, hits a strip club so she can talk to a dancer about the practice, how it works, why people enjoy it, what does she get out of it personally, looking for a wedge she can use to stop it in her town. Next thing you know she’s frolicking with the dancer and someone snaps a pic. A brief threat of blackmail shuts her down straight away.
