I think the king of Jordan might by lying about troops traversing his country. How else did they get to the west of Iraq? Certainly not through Syria. Turkey wouldn't allow that unless they get a shitload of money. It's a puzzle.

The troops in Iraq and Kuwait are doing a hell of a job. They really are. Two thumbs up from me. Still, I look forward to the day when they all come home.

I wish AFN wouldn't change news providers in mid sentence. I know they're trying to give us a broad selection, but it seems rude to just change when the announcer has their mouth open.

Speaking of announcers, there's this chick on MSNBC that looks like an anime chick. I couldn't take my eyes off her today. Very bizarre. Large, wide set eyes, small mouth. Eerie.

Cleaning is a drag. My fingers hurt from cleaning so much. And I'm still not done.

I heard from my husband. *does happy dance*:nana: :nana: :nana:

More later if I feel up to it. :D

All we needed was air rights to drop in troops. Whether by airdrop or on airstrips. That could come from the south as well.

Glad to hear that you heard from your husband.

I know Turkey didn't give over fly rights. I'm pretty sure the king denied giving any such permission. But I could be wrong. In any case, they're there, so no biggie. There is so much we don't know.

Anybody see these shows? I saw the first episode of George Lopez a couple days ago. I really liked it. Although the theme song was stereotypical. Might as well play La Cucaracha! Heh.

Profiles From the Front. Very interesting. It's about soldiers in Afghanistan. Sometimes a bit boring, and sometimes riveting stuff. At least it's not Survivor.

Done cleaning for the night. Made great progress, but still more to do. And they arrive tomorrow! Ack! My fingers hurt, back hurts, feet are sore from running up and down the stairs all day. And worst of all, my wrist is very sore.

I almost hate to sleep because I might miss something important. But I'm sure the news channels will rehash it over and over again like usual.

Ice cream rocks.

What a night. Tossing and turning. No, wait. That was the night before. :D

Four hours before they get here, if I'm lucky.

Cats are evil. They go outside and load up on grass just to come inside and give me something else to clean up. Bastards.

I wish we could temporarily clone ourselves. *sigh*

Wow, I haven't heard AFN in a looooong time. As crappy as it was, I miss it. Glad you heard from your husband. :)

Yep, Turkey re-iterated the no-flyover decision today. Interesting take you had on Jordan. I think you may be right.

Is this the chick with the ironed hair?

I watched her tonight...

Ironed hair? Not a clue what that looks like. But she was on about an hour ago. I got bored with the war and watched some sitcom.

My guests are now an hour late according to my schedule. I got so bored I clipped the hair off the cat's paws. I swear he's part hobbit. :D Now I'm looking for something to occupy myself with. *twiddling thumbs* Heh.

If you're bored we could talk dirty to each other Nance;)

"Bunch of thoughts to save space" ????????

Is your head getting to crowded with all those other little voices in there? :D

Ma_guy, :p

I guess since Ex isn't responding, he's not really propositioning me. Pity. ;)

Okay, I'm outta here for now.

Oh, so I should have propositioned you? Would that have kept you around? :p

No. LOL I usually take everything he says with a huge amount of salt. ;)

Turkey is such a huge pain in the ass. I think they should get exactly five euro cents for their fly over rights. And that's being generous. Fuckwits.

My guests are now four hours late according to my schedule. Fuckwits.
I'm hungry. *whimper and whine*

Gotta get heating oil ASAP. Bleah.

"Ok I'm back. He just had to tell me to show a little more tact when telling an aircrew member to shut the fuck up." God, I love my husband. :D :nana:

You can't get rid of me. Nope, no way.

*does dance of "it's been a long fucking day"*

The Turkish government is flat out lying. Untrustworthy bastards. The government keeps denying that any of their troops have crossed the border. There are multiple reports that they have. Before they could squelch them. I have it on very good authority that the Turkish troops have been seen in Iraq. You can't hide from an airplane, ya know. Did they really think no one would notice? Shya. Fuckwits, I tell you.

Damnit that is going to cause a whole shit load of problems.
