Nixon did the right thing and chose to resign when he realized the evidence was against him.
He had some memorable accomplishments while in office
Domestically, he created the Clean Water Act and the Environmental Protection Agency, as well OSHA.
He also thawed out relationships with Communist China. You're old enough to remember when China was considered a mortal enemy of the United States. Less than a generation later, you traveled to China and spent ten grand in hard currency on a Chinese "orphan".
Trump's accomplishments are massive tax cuts for billionaires, concentration camps for kids, and a Potemekin "wall" that blew over in the wind.
