Bump This Thread Whenever You See Trump is Still in Office

Got them (D)eez upset...man the talking heads of the internet politisphere are MAD about that.

Yes....but no.

Saluting along with other things such things like saluting, addressing people by their rank, standing in certain ways while talking to/being addressed by other members of the military is considered a sign of respect, both up and down.

Now personally respecting the person behind the rank? As a person, or a leader?? Totally different thing. That's still earned and personal in nature and totally irrelevant to your military life/behavior.

Example, I once had a fresh butter bar out of West Point who thought he was gods gift to the infantry. None of the NCO's could stand this little arrogant punk including me. A Truly insufferable bro we were all convinced he was going to get everyone killed on the next deployment.

But you know what? We all still came to attention when he spoke to us or we spoke to him, I still saluted him in passing, we still called him sir, he still called the NCO's/enlisted by their rank and we all dutifully followed his lawful orders because he had the bar on his uniform and we had stripes on ours.

That's respecting the rank, not the man.

I fully agree with you on military protocol, discipline and rank structure. You're taught from basic training to respect rank and addressing fellow soldiers by their rank, also got a rude awakening, if you ( enlisted ), failed to salute an officer.

I was referring to that youtube vid, that one instance where one officer had no respect for the senior officer and saluted the rank not the person. Saluting is a generic respect for rank but that wasn't my point. I was, like you say, taking it on the personal side of the house, in one particular instance and not the everyday life of a soldier abiding by military regs and protocol.

Trust me when I say I've had to salute some pretty shady officer types, the ones that enjoy the power of rank and have no concerns for their soldiers. I would also like to think that I helped many butter bars advance through their career progression. I've saluted many butter bars and for the most part the respect was mutual Being a warrant had a little nitch of its own, best of both worlds without needing a command. I never heard the saying " respect the rank not the man ".

A wise old Bull once told me ( O-6 infantry ) Your soldiers will make you their leader if you lead by example. The philosophical side of leadership. Now if you tell me "the military isn't a democracy" I've had that shoved down my throat. LOL

The devil bowed her head
Because she knew that she'd been beat
And she laid that golden pen
On the ground at Donald's feet
Donald said, "Nancy, just come on back
if you ever want to try again"
I told you once you drunk old bitch
I'm still your PRESIDENT :D;):cool::):

Draining the Swamp.........The President has those democratic Mofo's running scared.

Vindictive, according to CNN, but still president.

The President and his NSC Director are in the process of draining the swampy NSC by about a hundred people. Lt. Col. Vindman will be sent to the DOD. Maybe he'll quit and become the Defense Minister of Ukraine.

I love how absolutely outraged they are that Trump would be in a peevish mood and *shock* call actual bullshit by its correct name. Perfectly okay for any Democrat to say any vulgarity towards the president of the United States when he responds in kind is being childish.

Instead of fake news every single time someone says something is bulshit he should just look straight into the camera and say "That's bullshit, and you know it." Then have the FCC fine them if they carry it.

Be hilarious if they had to put the president United States on the 10 second delay

Overall a winning week for the Unsinkable Donald Trump.
On top of the State of the Union and the slam dunk acquittal, it was really nice of the Democrats to totally fuck up the Iowa caucus count.

It's time to go after the Obama traitors still in the administration and those who have left it.

It's been time......since 2017......we're waiting.

Hell the only thing he's got going for him so far is that the (D)'s are totally fucking incompetent.

They could fuck up a wet dream.

Plus the embarrassment of having their suit against Trump on the Emoluments Clause thrown out of court and being admonished they didn't have the standing to sue the President...."we whupped them again Josey.";):D

Madam Speaker...... The President of the UNITED STATES!

Tell yourself whatever it is that makes you feel better, but, despite all that you think you want to believe,Trump is still President, your President, and my President.

Life is grand😎

Samantha Power and Susan Rice would make for an interesting investigation.

I think that investigation is already taking place. Those hundreds of illegal unmaskings of American citizens aren't going to escape investigation.

LTC A Vindman escorted from the WH!

Right on. Hopefully along with others. I think it won't be long and the alleged whistleblower will become a target if he hasn't already. Him, Vindman, Miscko, Grace, Kent, Schiff, Yovanovitch, Taylor, Atkinson, Carlin, Mueller, Comey, McCabe, Rosenstein, Brennan, Clapper, Rice, Obama, and many others are all connected.
