This isn't about me, or my job situation, or your job situation, or the money either of us makes - you spew hatred towards everybody, you spew hatred when I *have* a job, you spew hatred when I don't have a job.

This is about what drives you to belittle other people - whether you belittle them about the fact that they don't have a job or a good job, or they don't make a lot of money, or because of some other misfortune, or anything you can find to put them down and elevate yourself.

Why is that LT?

Why do you think that you need to prop yourself up by saying you know "superior" people - is it because you think yourself inferior?

Why do you talk about *things* in your life as a measure of happiness?

Why do you assert you are rich - the other people are poor and therefore inferior?

I would assert that you say these things because you have nothing in your life that gives you real happiness. I would assert that there is some empty place in your soul that needs to be filled, and you don't know how to fill it with happiness, or empathy for others - because you don't have those emotions in your life - so you fill it with hate, self-loathing, envy (yes, envy - that others, despite their situation, don't feel the need to try to put others down like you do - that we can find happiness).

You continue in your spiral of self-hatred and that oozes out in your posts as hatred of others. You are caught in a cycle man, and you can't get out of it. You try to make everyone hate you and you often succeed. I pity you man, I really do. I hope someday you find the help you need to find your way out of your self-destructive self-hate.

This isn't about you "winning" some political point by any means necessary - because that won't make you happy. This is about you finally realizing that what you do here, the things you say, is hurting you. I hope you find some way to be happy someday - truly happy.

I have you on ignore so I haven't been following your threads/posts for years, but what little I do see anymore is all about "I'm better than you" and "you suck" and "you deserve what you got because you suck" and "I'm successful" and "I'm rich" and "I know important people" and on and on.

Anyone with half a brain can see you have a real inferiority complex and you really need help with your life. Get that help dude. You need it. When you feel better about yourself you will stop feeling the need to try to put other people down and/or pull them down to your level.

Attention. Trolls crave attention. One of the best ways to get attention is to be an asshole to everyone you meet and/or say something that most people dislike. There are a lot more threads and posts about what an asshole LT is than there are appreciation threads for anybody else.

Almost as sad as the fact that people like LT crave attention so much, is the fact that many people blindly give it to him (or any other troll) - thereby blindly playing his game. Worse yet, is that they get all worked up about it while LT sits back and laughs.

Imagine that I am a troll like LT:

I can almost guarantee that if I attack any moderately likable person on the GB that I will get at least a few people to attack me back in defense of that person.

If a person then attacks me in another thread (because I said something abhorrent or attacked someone they liked) then I not only get their attention, but the attention of everybody who supports that view and reads the post. Then others post in support of that person and I get yet more attention.

Either way (often both ways), I get attention. If the attention dies down, then I can stir it up again by attacking the person(s) attacking me in their own threads. I win.

It is really sad and pathetic, but it is the truth - that is how LT gets what he craves - attention. Not to mention he gets to put other people down in an attempt to make himself feel superior.

The solution?

The 'ignore' button.

It works for me. It is sad that more people don't use it. Trolls would just fade away if nobody ever replied to them - because? They seek attention.
