If the guy's willing to make an effort to be dignified in debate, then I'm willing to give him a chance to change rather than back him into the corner and have a mob go of him.

He's been trying but the people who think they have one up on him actually have closed their minds and now view every utterance with extreme prejudice, a prejudice unearned. They condemn that which they do not like as unlearnable in that way. It makes them smaller.

Now if he were like REDWAVE and quite adamant that he is never, ever going to change, then have a go. But I've seen the guy trying so I'm gonna try to dagnabit!
