Is it wrong for use to have a fence around our home?

My husband and I have a large fence around our home. It is not because we hate everyone outside the fence or that we are racists. We just don't want our home broken into by PEOPLE THAT HAVE NO RESPECT for property rights. There ARE drug creeps and jerks like Charles Manson that do horrible things. History is filled with examples of people needing to protect themselves from invading scum.

But, we have a very large gate and open our home to people that call on us and request to come to our home. Or to those we invite. We just don't want to wake up in the night and find a creep has broken into our home.

But, maybe we are bad people. If a pregnant woman climbs over the fence and breaks into our home and give birth in our basement then what should we do? If we are "good people" maybe we should view her and her child as part of our family.

Maybe we should pay for the birth and all of her medical needs and of course free housing and food and provide her and all of her relatives with free phones. We will need to educate her child because it is not her responsibility it is our responsibility.

So, maybe we should tear our fence down, open the windows, leave the door open, put up a "MS13 welcome" sign on our house and go broke paying for all of this shit. Yes, that makes sense. That is what a good person would do.
