Buffy's really strong. Freakishly strong. And around vampires a lot.

Why haven't any ever tried to make her a vampire instead of just killing her?

I'm looking forward to the season you all are watching. It looks very interesting. I've been reading up on it at the upn site.

Don't vampires know how to operate firearms?

There have been vamps who have tried to turn her, but again, with the freakish strength, they can never finish the job :)

There was an episode WAY back in the days when everyone's worst nightmare was coming true and Buffy was turned into a vamp by the Master.

Hope that helps :)

They did in the first season.

Would Buffy still be so strong if she was a vampire? Wouldn't that take away her slayer powers?

And really...buffy has died 2 or 3 times already. (I lost count)

I would eliminate a slayer which is a good thing for vamps.

Those vamps suck. Gimme vampie powers and I would have the world at my feet!

Don't think they do. I never thought of that. Hmm.

MZ_Scarlett, you're thinking of two different episodes in the first season. In one, the nightmare ep., she did become a vampire briefly. But as it was only a nightmare, it doesn't really count. In another one, the Master bit her, and dropped her into a shallow pool of water. She drowned and was clinically dead for just a bit. Xander did CPR on her and brought her back.

Sorry, I've been watching it a lot lately, since I bought the first two seasons on DVD last week. :)

Are all vampires incredibly bad shots?

Not only vamps, but the big bads are too. Buffy got shot a couple season's ago along with Tara being killed which caused the sexy evil Willow to appear.

I'm about in the middle of season 6, which is y'all's last season. We won't get your current season until maybe Sept.

Aaaaah...I must warn you then. The thread I posted, has spoilers in it. So read at your own risk.

But that thread kicks ass anyways.

Honey, first rule in movies and television: Bad guys can't aim.

(the second rule is: Don't piss off Mel)

I could have sworn in the nightmare episode it was the Master that put her into the grave...but it has been awhile since I've seen it :)

There're too many spoilers in that thread. The first post alone is a huge tease. Hence why I avoid it.
