Buffy: Countdown to the Apocalypse

I don't see why they'd need to, the Fang Gang is doing just fine on it's own at the moment. Would make sense for Lilah to come back, though.

And if the show goes another season, I wouldn't be suprised if the cast was slightly different. I would imagine it is as follows: Angel, Fred, Wes, Lorne, Gwen, Spike(Human, of course) with Cordy and Giles making guest appearances. For some reason, I don't think Gunn will be around too much longer.

Ok, so i'm all for Gunn leaving, i fucking hate him anyways, he just annoys the everloving SHIT outta me. "i'm the muscle" blah blah just die already.

Spike as a human, huh? could be interesting...we'll have to discuss this outside the board, because i dont wanna let loose any spoilers.

Not so spoilery, it just seems logical. Way back in the season's beginning, an episode ended with him draped across a stone cross. Ala Jesus, who sacrificed himself to save the world. Spike's already sacrificed himself once, I think he can do it again. Plus it makes for an interesting dynamic if he moves over to Angel. All Angel wants is to be a man, and if Spike achieves it...etc.

Plus, c'mon, Spike and Lorne in the same room? Hilarity.

Good point, i do think it'd be interesting with Spike and Angel interacting...but for how Spike was to return after his sacrifice? Thats the question...

LOL at thinking about Lorne and Spike together.

Well, I'm thinking he's the one that's going to close the Hellmouth.

And Angel was sent back to Earth once, so why couldn't Spike be given a second chance? The only Vampire in history to a) QUEST for his old human soul, then b)sacrifice himself to save the world. That's pretty deserving of a reward.

If I was writing for Angel, I would be drooling over using Spike on that show.

ummm....isn't Lila dead?? Cordy killed her, Angel was feeding, and Wes beheaded her in case she was turned.

Her contract with Wolfram & Hart extends beyond death. They own her, body and soul.

Rasta...

I missed the seasons previous to this years for Angel... Would you mind giving me a rundown of what exactly was this Wolfram & Hart stuff? Like what did they do?

damn me

Ooooo, damn, I have to find some time at home to actually watch last week's Angel... sighhhhhh. At least I have friends who tape things for me, I can't complain.

They are kind of like hells law firm. The senior partners were always being refered to but I don't ever remember them saying who or what they are. I assume something along the lines or the Powers that Be but evil.

Law firm, offices around the world, hundreds of years old. Basically, the law firm of Satan. Except Satan was small potatoes compared to who they worked for. Involved in all sorts of dirty dealings. Extranormal and run of the mill evil alike. Most higher up employees under contract for life. And afterlife.

Hmmmm, didn't know Evil could be taken to court for anything... Or did they do like make the legal agreements for soul selling and that kinda shit?

They represented evil people, usually. Evil companies. Demon lawsuits. Soul selling. You name it, they had a finger in that pot.

Oh ok...People with ties to evil or were evil or demons posing as people would be represented by them in court. Did they just stick to this dimension or did they have branches in others?

Branches all over. Lila got her copy of some special book from another dimension and thats why it had stuff about the beast in it.

Damn....Should have watched Angel before this season...Actually sounds a little more interesting than Buffy is.

Buffy has seemed to unfold s-l-o-w-l-y this season. sighhhhhh... too much wasted time whining, fussing over potentials, waffling between coddling them and cussing them, so to speak. The preacher is interesting, God, poooooooooor Xander. The first thing I thought was, "He's a carpenter, he needs his depth perception!"

:D LOL, I didn't even think about that part of it, good point.

To me, it has been more interesting. I don't know if it's the way they keep splitting the season up and showing re-runs after one or two new shows or what but I'm ready for it to be over with already...which is saying a lot for me.

Rasta, are you sure you aren't Joss in real life? Or a family member of Joss'? Come on, man, you can tell us! We promise not to tell. ;)

I'm also more than ready for Buffy to be over...its just, too many reruns. It seems like Angel has gone about 5 or 6 straight weeks of new episodes, with new episodes every week. Buffy, on the other hand...maybe two in a row, then 4 weeks of rereuns. its just not cool.

Exactly...I'm so pissed at Buffy this season. Well, not Buffy herself but you know what I mean. I just don't understand why the heck they ran the season the way they did. They needed to make the decisions about the season after they had laid off the crack pipe.

I just watched last week's Angel - I'm a slacker.

Damn - Jasmine's voice coming out of the Matthew kid - that was creepy, he looks a bit like Corey Feldman.

But Jasmine's voice coming out of Conor sounded... kinda right. He's such a feminine little shit! I want them to shave his head, he'd look like a cancer poster child.

I like the other dimension visit for Angel, but in a way, I'm getting really bored with the show. How many more eps? New Buffy comin up, but from the TV Guide description, it doesn't sound like we're getting much plot advancement. Sighhhhhhhh.
