Welcome Watergirl! I know what you mean about having time on your hands. My best friend used to live right down the block from me but just recently her and her fiance moved an hour away so we don't get up there and they don't get down here too often.

I have no idea about the Giles thing, I missed the last new episode so last I saw was when he was about to get hit by the axe. I was thinking Buffy's mom was a trick of the Big Bad's but everyone is saying no so maybe not?

Hey all, Happy New Year.

Anyone catch the all-day Slay-a-thon on FX yesterday? Since i stayed in pretty much all day, it was a great way to pass the time. I love the older Buffy episodes, as SMG, to me, looked SO much hotter when she had some weight to her...she's like a twig now...no wonder the Uber-vamp kicked her ass

That really sucks! They've done that a few times down here, was really annoying. They haven't done it yet this season but I wouldn't be surprised if they did. I only caught one epidode of the slayer-thon on FX, it was the nightmare one from the first season I think. It's one of my favorite episodes though.

Willow did the telepathy bit for the first time during the finale of Season 5. Then again a few times early on in Season 6. It's been wholly absent so far this year until tonight.

Randomly, I'm a good 41 pages into a paper on Buffy Start to Finish. Won't be done for a long time, at least a couple months after the show ends, cause it'll have to sit and marinate a bit, but it's really fucking good what I have so far.

Not a bad episode. I think they killed that vampire too easily tho. I mean they have fought before and he didn't tire like he did that time and get his ass kicked only after a few punches. That's my only dissapointment. The next couple episodes will be pretty good tho.
