<swoons> can i come to england and live with you? pretty pretty please?:D

Finally got around to watching last nights episode and to tell the truth I kind of liked it compared to the last few. Sex, fighting and some plot advancement are all good in my book....

There is something about that axe I just don't like... Too shiny and all like "Look at me and come pull me out of this stone cause I won't hurt you, I really won't...".

Looks like Faith's plan wasn't so hot. Guess she couldn't smell set-up from the moment that Bringer talked, Buffy would have. Faith should stick to the sex thing and leave the thinkin to the real leader's.

Glad to see Buffy finally realized she can't just go toe to toe with Caleb at the moment and used that slayer speed to her advantage, good for her. But by God leave that axe alone it just doesn't look right...

It's cool to see the axe finally show up on the screen, been seeing it on paper way too long. Fray is cool.

And I guess I'm the only one who found Will and Kennedy's sex scene a little tasteless. There's a time and place for that sort of thing, don't get me wrong, but that shit just didn't fit in last night's episode.

The SO said they should have added one more scene to the 'everybody is getting it on' montage:

Buffy in Spikes arms . . .to . . . Eliza and Wood . . . to . . . Willow and Kennedy . . . to . . . Xander and Anya . . . to . . . Andrew posting at Lit as Yayati.

See..Andrew is actully funny. Yayati is just an idiot. There's a difference.

Yep. The last issue, 8(of 8), is due out soon. She fights with the axe.

Yep.

Her name is Melaka Fray. 19 year old Slayer in the 23rd century. From Manhattan. Professional thief. In her time, vamps are called lurks, short for lurkers.

Go here.

Slayers are still called though, Hellmouth or not.

And remember, there's also a Hellmouth in Cleveland.

And in other places I am sure but I remember you specifically saying the last slayer...

The Fray history is that there was a climatic battle in the early 21st century where the last slayer closed the hellmouth, banishing all demons and magic from the Earth, and it's not known if said slayer survived. I'm taking it to mean the last 'active' slayer.

Ahh ok well then you should have said so, lol. So I guess the demony folk find a way back to earth eventually. Sounds reasonable...

That fucking website you posted Rasta, says to be continued...whats up with that?!

Trade Collection?

Fray is an 8-issue limited comic book series written by Joss. When it's all done, it'll be put together into one volume. Said volume usually called a 'trade paperback' or 'trade collection'.

Well, putting together the Firefly box-set is next, and since it was a half season, it should only be a discs, which won't take too long, i know he's got another limited series coming out, one movie I'm sure of, and two on the back burner.

Nice...never got around to watching Firefly...don't really watch a whole lot of T.V.

Are all of Joss's things like the fantasy type of stuff with like vampires and stuff like that?

Nope. Firefly was great, I think. Thousand years from now. Huge war between the government and revolutionists, it goes on for years and years. Government wins. Space is colonised. The main characters are a ragtag group of supply runners/sorta criminals on the firefly class ship, Serenity. Bad guys are the government and the Reavers. The Reavers were a couple shipfulls of humans that sailed into space, so far out that they hit nothing but darkness for years and years. Turned them into monsters in human clothing. Cannibals. Scary fuckers.

Also, both Caleb and Jasmine were star characters. Well, the actors, anyhow.

Interesting, may have to check out the dvd when it comes out.

And so thats how they got the parts in each series. Interesting.
