Buffy: Countdown to the Apocalypse

What the hell? A slayer taking her child out on patrol with her? Joss and company have lost their cotton pickin' minds. Okay, that's just my opinion but if I know what I'm doing is dangerous, I sure as hell ain't putting my child in the middle of the mess.

I do like getting background information on the newly turned William. It confirms what I've always thought...that William was kind hearted even after he was turned. I think it was that 'perceived weakness' that caused him to become 'Spike'.

But what's up with them playing freakin re-runs AGAIN!!!!

Damn UPN!!!!

Not sure she WAS on patrol. They could have been going to do something together, as a fam thing, when Spike came up on them. Spike did comment that she was a hard one to find, or something like that. Just my take on it.

I really enjoyed tonites Buffy. The flashbacks to Spike(I didn't even realize it was him until a min or so of the flashback) with his mother and Drue. Then going back and forth between the fight with woods and his mother. Great episode.

I liked the episode, but don't you think that WB & UPN could have at least coordinated it so Willow got the call on Buffy before showing up on Angel?

But I did love seeing Spike as the poet again. It just showen that there was a sweet side to him.

Can't believe Giles & the way he is acting. I thought he had more faith in Buffy than that! :(

He does have faith in buffy...it's faith in spike what he doesn't have.

I agree, he gave Buffy that whole speech on how she needed to start making hard decisions, etc. but the whole time he'd already made the decision concerning Spike.

See, I knew the IMing was messing up my Buffy vibe. Thank you for telling me that. I just couldn't understand what the hell Robin's mom could have been thinking!!! Thank you...:D I'm glad I recorded it, now.

Thank you for reminding me about another thing I wanted to bitch about. I understand they're not on the same channel but...come on, people. Have a little sensitivity for the fans!!!

My take on it (and I'm no expert, by any means) is that Giles is still very wary of Spike...with good reason. I think he'd *like* to have more faith with Buffy's decision making, which is why he kept stressing the need to make difficult decisions. I think he feels she's blinded by her feelings for Spike and is not allowing herself to see the entire picture. Then, add in that Buffy hasn't always shown the best judgement when put in a difficult position: her inability to kill Angel when he was Angelus - it took the possibility of Earth getting sucked into hell AND the fact that so many people were hurt, including Kendra's death, before she was finally able to do it; her willingness to let Earth be sucked into hell for Dawn with no regard for the rest of the human race. Granted, I understand this one a little better but she's the slayer, sworn to protect Earth. Now she's determined to defend Spike to the bitter end; knowing he has no chip and that he's under the FE's control; continually having him around, not only all of the potential slayers but, her friends and family. Although I agree with her argument about needing Spike as a warrior, I think she has more personal motives (even if she won't admit them to herself) for keeping Spike around. And her argument...he has a soul, I know he can be a good man. While I don't doubt for a second that he can be a good man, she seems to have forgotten he had a soul when he sired a vamp and killed people earlier this year. I don't know that I would be okay with Buffy's decisions at this time either, if I were Giles.

What a good Buffy! And Spike gets the cool black coat back, too, Heh heh heh...

And now, for new Angel - see you all later!

ok, somehow I have missed something on Angel (which, since we went a yr+ w/o a channel that carried Angel, it is VERY likely), but, WHEN was Cordy pregnant before now?? Tonight they spoke of her being pregs before and coming to term in a days time.....48 hrs time.... ??? I just sort of did a double take of, "wha...?? when...???"

Not sure WHEN in angel time, she got pregnant.

But has Cordy been a bad girl? LOL I so can't wait to see what happens.

I was just looking for any details on her prior pregnancy, since I seem to have missed it.

Oh, I loved the way they had that scene set up in ambush for her. Also, found Gunner and Gwen's scene interesting. Curious as to where that will go also. :)

Cordy got knocked up first season. One episode deal.

Anyone else catch the camera pan of Fred, and the look on her face when Cordy mentioned non one them not know what it felt like to have something growing inside of them? Maybe she's pregnant with Gunn's child? There's definitely a story there.

thanks Rasta. :) So who or what impregnated her then?? and what happened to the "baby"?? (yes, I'm full of questions. :))

OH, and where have you been hiding?? :D

Episode 12 of Season One...Titled 'Expecting', I thnk. Sleeps with this guy named Wilson, wakes up 9 months pregnant. With an entire litter. Good episode, go watch.

And me, I've had a lot on my plate lately. In fact, I've had 17 plates lately.

It's the Rasta Pope, mahn. :D welcome back.

And, yes, I noticed the look on Fred's face. I have to admit, it would not surprise me if Fred is pregnant now that Gunn has decided to move on. Okay, maybe not moved on but has slept with someone else.

And definitely take va_angel's advice and remember to breathe occassionally. :D

I thuink the real cordy is in heaven and this cordy on earth is a demon in disguise.

woudl explain why she had no memories at first

HHMMMM...I hadn't thought of that before. That makes a lot of sense.

Damn, something else for me to ponder.

She was just there. No Arrival.

She was sent as a demon and then got caught so she took cordelias form and then faked amnesia. Also explaisn why she has all those powers, why she like conner and can control the demon.

Gunn slept with someone else? Already? Does Fred know? Was it Gwen?

Yep. She tricked young Charles into helping her steal a new gadget that dampened her electro-powers.

Gunn proceeded to hit it.

does fred know? did he do it willingly? damn it he sucks! If someone killed me once and I fortunate enough to be brought back, I would go anywhere near them. Let alone slip my intimate parts into them. *shudder*

Fred does not know.

Quickie.

Gwen shows up needing the help of a strong, smooth man to help her rescue a kidnapped girl. Angel steps forward, but suprise, she wanted Gunn's smoove blackness. He agrees, they show up at the party where this girl is. She creates a distraction, he snatches the girl. Finds out the girl lives there, she hasn't been kidnapped. Goes off looking for Gwen, finds her looting a safe. She apologizes, says it's just corporate espionage. Security comes in, they fight, she electrocutes them all unconscious. Later at Gwen's condo, she gives Gunn a pep-talk ensuring him that he's more than just muscle, he's brains as well. He lightbulbs and figures out that she stole the gizmo because it may negate her powers. She asks him to slip it on her back, he does, touches her back, no zappy. She sits up, the kiss, he asks if she's ever bumped the bits, she says no, they proceed to hump.

ta-da.

Well, she crazy cheated on him with Wes. Granted, she only kissed him, but she was cheating on him in her head, and that's what counts there.

I dont think that she was cheating. He kissed her. Didnt she push him away?

I guess it doesnt matter much since they broke immediately aftre the kiss. But you think that if he was so heart broken that he wouldnt be able to move on so quickly. But what do I know?
