I origionally just wanted to whine about breast implants, but I'm pretty sure no one wants to hear me whine, so I just posted about it in my own picture thread.

So now I'm changing this topic into Plastic Surgery.

What are your thoughts on Plastic Surgery?

I know in the end that it's the person's body, the person's money, and they aren't hurting anyone else by getting it done, so in the end it's none of my buiness or anyone else's buisness, but I personally think most of it just looks ugly and unatural.

I don't see anything wrong with having a different varity of natural bodies.

I'd love to get my boobs made bigger. I know people say things like "but big boobs arent all that great".
But to me, being a small B cup, id love to know what its like to have a man talk to my chest instead of my face.
I even have a line ready for if i ever get my boobs done. If a man did talk to my chest id be impressed and say "yep arent they worth the £3000?"
I think its a personal opinon thing - some people do seem to go too far but its their choice and if they are happy with their body then good for them!
I'd love to say "im so happy with my body i dont want anything done" but i dont think theres a woman in the world who would say she loves every single part of her body and wouldnt take the chance to improve on it if it was painless and instant.
Ok surgery isnt painless but it is pretty much instant and lasting.

male point of view...

My experience is that large breasts are not as sensitive as smaller breasts. I've been with women who had large breasts and women who have smaller sized breasts, and although the large ones capture most men's attention, smaller ones are more sexy, more sensitive, more attractive, etc.

One man's opinion.

I've thought about having my breasts reduced, but despite the occasional backache, it's not really medically necessary, and so it's not something my insurance company would pay for, and I do have better things to do with my money.

Thus -- it's not going to happen.

Speaking from experience of seeing my wife's self-confidence increase dramatically since having her enhancement, it does need serious thought before doing it. But it was a positive result for both her and me :) Even though she had plenty of stares just because of her beauty, she did not feel well about her size which was a B. She now is a 34D.. dang hope i have that right, anyway, they are hand fulls and then some :) But i have to honestly say, you can do all the surgery you want but if the inner beauty is not there, it will show through and through...
Not sure if this all makes sense but its another man's opinion..

Haha! That's the first time I've heard that from a woman.

Just like Monique, I thought about having my breast reduced when I was about 15 or 16 years old. I had a serious discussion with my mom about it when I was 16 and she told me if I really wanted to have it done she prefered that I wait until I was 18 to have it done and she would do all that she could to pay for it. I got tired of men talking to my boobs and not my face and the back aches that came from it. I was thinner at that age.

I started putting on weight when I was 18, so I was a little bit more ballenced. I still have back aches, but I feel so fat now that I feel like I need the boobs to make me not look so fat. I also feel that there's better things to spend my money on since the back pain isn't that bad.

Does anyone know if insurecne cover breast implants if you loose your breast to cancer? I was just wondering about that. I never knew anyone who actually lost their breast to breast cancer. I knew people who had breast cancer, but none of them had to loose their breast.

If plastic surgery makes someone happier and more confident about themselves, I can only see it as a positive. In moderation, like most things, it can increase attractiveness ... it depends on the degree of plastic surgery you indulge yourself with :D

That sounds like a woman I work with. She is not a BBW at all but is just very tall and had huge boobs - that all the guys loved! :) However, she had them reduced last year. She feels better about them and she gets less backache. And they are still bigger than most women's! :D

Incidentally, you can get a boob reduction done on the National Health Service - and it won't cost you a penny (but probably a 12 month wait for the operation).

Speaking from my own point of view, I recently got jiggy with a totally stunning woman who had boob implants. It was a first for me (the tits not the sex ;)) and I wasn't impressed. Eventually I got bored with breasts that wouldn't move and felt much harder than every other pair of tits I'd had my hands and mouth on. Fortunately for me she had a shaved and wet pussy, incredible legs and really slutty high heels so I spent most of my time down there. ;)

Leave them natural. You can wear sexy clothes to show them off. I rather see B naturals than DD fake.

Unless it's medically necessary or the person's disfigured and wants to change that, I'm opposed to plastic surgery. When I see a woman with an obvious boob job, I can't help thinking--and I know this is unfair in some cases--that she's lacking in some other department (personality, intelligence, etc.) and is trying to compensate. Sure, there are plenty of shallow men who place a lot of importance on breast size, but why would a woman want to attract them in the first place?

If you're a lady considering, make sure you do it because YOU want them. Other than that just do what you want.

BTW rootsfan between being fans of both the Gators and Drive By Truckers we have a lot in common.

Hey snake, yes, the DBTs are amazing. Got to see them live about a year ago, and they blew me away. (And I've been to a lot of shows in the past 25+ years.)

As for the Gators, heh, it's been a pretty good time to be a fan, hasn't it? :D Do you attend UF? I graduated in the late '80s, and stayed in G'ville for a few years afterward. Lots of good memories. Dang, suddenly I'm hankering for some Burrito Brothers.

I was barely an A cup when i decided to get breast implants 11 yrs ago..it was the best decision i ever made i'm now a C38 and i wouldn't change them for anything in the world...as long as you get plastic surgery for YOURSELF and no one else....more power to ya!

I think it's a sad world in which we resort to surgery to change what we were born with to make ourselves feel better.

I don't think surgery is ever the answer, except in extreme and/or medical cases.

I think the media should be blamed for this.

To each his..uhhh her..own..

As in my previous post, I will say my..now ex-wife :( was in the same position as you Faith..and yes it helped her self esteem so much.. she felt better about herself in most ways and confident. but she had other issues that took away from it to, such as not wanting men to look at them..which to me is confusing as WE ARE MEN..lol anyway.. it was the best thing for HER.. now you can read the rest below...

Gloriann.. sometimes it does take that majic knife to make some feel better as we live in a world that first impression is about 80% of interaction. Even if someone meets online or on phone, at some point, looks will be discussed and decisions will be made... but from one who knows it first hand.. looks are decieving in what lays inside. My wife..now ex..had breast implants..and prior to getting the job done, i mentioned that in most cases (not proven..lol), a divorce will follow as a woman becomes confident and attracts others..and a realization of how the status of a realationship is will also cause decisions to be made.. i say that only because i visioned my fate before the surgery.. and it came true.. i'm happy for those who find that self-esteemed that is so desired..and yet keep a realationship as it was before... even though knife is not the answer to all..it does help some find that part of their life that is missing.. so i'm for it if it does that..not for it, if its to make a person vain..

You know I don't think it really matters to us men as much as one might believe... small, large or somewhere in between.. Now maybe this is just me but then I'm not a huge breast fan.. Don't get me wrong, wonderful to touch, exciting to play with, each has thier own charm even though I'm partial to smaller specimens...

As far as implants? Well let me say this.. get quality ladies.. Some of us don't really care either way but we can tell..

There are exceptions to this.. I was with a woman for a while for whom I couldn't tell she had implants until one hot steamy night she mentioned that she'd had surgery done... I was shocked, as I had no clue until she told me... Being somewhat at a loss for words I whispered to her while lavishing at her treasures "well then, I commend your surgeon"...... yeah real romantic huh? Fortunately she took this all in stride and we had a wonderful evening anyway...

A friend of mine has said "Boobs to a lady are like a head of hair to a guy.
A wemon doesn't care if the guy is bald as much as the guy thinks and a guy doesn't care how big a wemons breast are as much as she thinks."

I personaly have been with two wemon who have had implants.
Yes they feel harder. No they don't reduce the sensitivity, probably because they were small in the first place.

Both wemon had it done for themselves. One had small breasts, one was in a terrible accident and lost a lot of weight and it effected her breast size.

Personaly I like breast small, real or fake.
