Breast Envy

Breast envy. A fairly new topic in my life as of late. I'm fine with mine. They are a nice shape, size, blah, blah, blah. I don't want anymore or less. I have a friend who recently got implants a couple of months ago. I feel that if it makes her more comfy with herself...knock yourself out! What is interesting is the reaction it gets from our other women friends. They are interested in them but it seems to have become as obsession as of late. It is the middle of winter and I'm seeing plunging necklines, tight thin shirts, and miracle bras. Everytime a guy comes near they are all sticking their chests out. Do we really feel like we have to compete with each other? Don't men outnumber women in the world?

Maybe I missed something in seduction 101 but if I have to stick my chest way out to get a guy to notice me, he is probably not the guy I want to be with for more than a night.

Help me gain a little perspective here...I'm feeling the need to join the other lemmings and buy a miracle bra.

Yes, buy a flattering bra and wear a tight, v-neck sweater every once in a while.

It's not about competition, but rather, feeling good and sexy about yourself.

Yah...I'm fine with the feeling good and sexy stuff. I think it is a competition ONLY because I've had some mutual guy friends come up and whisper in my ear and ask me WTF is up with the "chest" thing lately. Of course, they finish that conversation off with... "Why don't you dress like that?" *wink* <-- they wink. I blush. End of conversation. :D

In my mind, women are either a whole package or individual parts. It seems to me that you either dress for the WHOLE package, wonder bra or not or you dress to emphasise ONE specific trait.

Just be your self and go totally nude!:p

Why WOULD you dress like that...

...if the effect of not doing so is the guys are all talking to you? Something backwards seems to be at work here, though I understand Ruby's point. Your friend's attempts seem to be having other than the presumably-desired effect.

Unless you suppose they've united to drive the men to talk to you, PB, in which case you might treat them all to lunch.

There must be some culturally specific component to the appreciation of breast implants that doesn't translate, and hence, is lost on me. I've seen many women with very expensive boob-jobs, and they've all looked bad. I'll go further than that. They are hideous abominations. I suppose they look fine enough under a heavy sweater and an overcoat, but in the nude they look malformed --especially when the victim bends over.

No, I don't think they realize it is having an undesired effect. The men give them the attention they want but in the background they are asking WTF...because it is so blantely obvious. I guess the theory is why make the 'eye candy' go away if you can have it for free.

I was jealous and frustrated at first but then one of the guys pulled me aside and said... "Uhhh... seems to me you're the one we are asking out on dates". Good point. I shut up.

I had breast envy. I have to admit that posting in the pic forum has pretty much rid me of that. I never EVER knew there were guys out there that liked small chested women. I mean, honestly, truly...that they weren't just settling for what they could get. Plus having a small chest can throw off the fit of some clothes.

I gave up bras a few years ago because they weren't doing anything for me except digging into my flesh. The extra layer didn't do anything to smooth me out, and I certainly didn't have enough to need the support. Heck I can't even wear a wonderbra. They ride up because I don't have enough to keep them down. Anyway, thanks to the boys at Lit, I feel sexier than ever and I don't wear bandaids as much as I used to.

PB,

Maybe those women feel the need to puff out their chests in order to be noticed... and you don't have to go to those tactics to be noticed...

There is nothing wrong with wanting to feel sexy ... but then there is a difference between being confident and sexy and then there is the other end of being desparate and craving a tad to much attention ... .. just my opinion.

 Imi. I like your outfit in the AV.

You should not be in a contest for attention.. Personally I look at the eyes first, or butt, depending on which direction they are walking. But then I'm not a "breast" man.

I was blessed with rather large breasts and almost always dress to hide or minimize them. I hate watching people, men or women, stare at my breasts when they are talking to me. I mean hell, I do have a face!

Thanks LtGR--stay tuned. Since I'm not posting anymore for distributions fears, I figured I'd, well, I'd have fun with my av. Seems like I chance them every few days.

Hey, you seen Cote around? Ran and I miss him. :(

I like natural breasts when a women gets implants they look like something on a cartoon.

I also like my breasts on the small side.

Pacific keep what you have and just get a bra that will inhance them.
