Breadably soundproof gag?

I agree that there probably isn't such a gag. Breath sounds make noise, and if you want it to be "sound proof", that's the first step in a snuff film. Not a pretty picture, in my book.
The best you will do is to minimize the sounds, be it breath sounds or muffled cries and whimpers. A cloth gag does a pretty good job of muffling anything from the mouth, but the nose must remain open for breathing. Still, there will be nasal sounds possible, even though the mouth is silenced. But, there isn't going to be any drool.
The sub's own panties do a good job, with some sort of cloth tie to make sure the panties stay put. Be sure not to stuff too much too deep into the mouth, as it can sometimes block the air passageway. Always check to see if the sub is "OK" before continuing with what you intend.
Personally, I prefer to hear the muffled sounds from my subs. A simple ball gag is great for that. Muffled pleas of mercy, whimpers and gasps of emotion or pain are very sexy to me. But then, maybe that's just me. And, a sizable amount of drool is always possible with a ball gag.

Don't know about gags, or how effective this would be for what you are seeking, but have you investigated the round metal helmuts which can have matching metal balls for the hands? Down side maybe having to limit some activities as I believe they are too heavy to be worn without some form of support.

They do a variety of rather nasty gags at Insex, and in all the footage I've wantonly pirated, the sub can still make sounds and even understandable words. (sort of)
We make those sounds back in our pharynx, remember, where the vocal chords are. As long as some air can pass, some sounds can be made.
A well-sized ball gag is pretty effecive as far as rendering the sub inarticulate, if not silent.
Oh, and they did put one of the "models" in a very-well crafted metal helmet, very tight and form-fitting. You could understand her quite well.

I know the feeling, but my problem is I must breath through my nose. That doesn't cause a problem with gags. Well, I'm a Dom, so gags aren't an issue, but that's my phobia...I panic if I can't breath through my nose. Yes, the big bad Dom has a weakness! LOL.cellis said:Yes it does.

But your wiffle ball (that's the practice golf ball with holes in it) should work pretty well, for you. Lots of breathing holes, and you still are muffled, to a point. Sexy!

I think bikewer is correct. The sound is produced inside. You can't stop it all.
I tried this. Take a breath. Cover mouth and nose completely. Make a sound. It' s easy. So no device, even with complete seal could suppress ever sound. Learn something every day.
