I think I figured it out! Maybe... I have to plug in some numbers and keep my fingers crossed.

Lots of things have changed in nearly 10yrs.... I would have never came to a college level course without being prepared. Having the information read, doing assessments and homework, making sure I can focus on lecture.... These mofos... In the past 3 weeks I have been the only student to do any of the basics! Our homework is being done in class instead of checking our understanding. At first, not a big deal, I get extra time to review my mind-term, now we are getting into the thick of it! Our assessments and applied learning is being cut short every class now!
I really hope when I start my full time studies this won't be the case! Maybe I just needed to vent because I feel old! 😄

Sounds like they are working at the level of the weakest students. When I went to college we were not pandered to at all. My business professor would fail any student who spelled the word business wrong on any paper they turned in. I guess now they leave it spelled up on the board so they don't have to worry about it.

This class is a lot of hand holding! I'm sitting there looking around thinking I am being pranked. You came unprepared again?! You are going to bitch you didn't "have time" when you had five extra days! Shoot me now!

I think that's hilarious myself. My instructor in my C++ class went off on a student who didn't bring their homework. The student gave him shit about how they were paying for the class and it was up to him to come through. He said something back about how the other 42 of us were also paying him and he would go where the bulk of the money came from. Sounded really funny from him since he was from India.
 
I got to see some of Detroit over the last couple days. I hadn't really gotten a proper tour of it before. I do know that it's improved quite a bit from where it was not long ago.

Yes, definitely positions that will take your breathe away! I would imagine women who are "chesty" having some complaints!
 
Looks painful for her if you ask me, and possible leg cramp waiting to happen for him. :eek: However, if she wanted to try it I would be a more than willing participant!
