I agree completely with your vanilla statement. Years ago all I would do is bitch about how he wasn't open to try new things. He seemed to only want sex when XYZ was completed and then only on his terms. Finally I realized we DO enjoy sex together even without all the acts I once dubbed necessary. They aren't. Sure it would be nice. But those acts aren't within his comfort zone. So I worked on spicing up the vanilla stuff we do and making it more appealing to me.
Sure... It's not a butterscoth pistachio sundae... But vanilla with cinnamon swirl is tasty too!

Yes, if everything just stays the same and there's never any variance it becomes dull and predictable. Vanilla with some nuanced flavours added on the top is the way to go to keep things interesting and exciting.

I keep saying our next "dyi project" is the bathroom. I want a concrete and fiber optic sink. The results are a starry night light.
I think I'm obsessed with light box themed stuff because it makes me want to write and draw, even if it is just tracing.

Obsessed with everything tantra at the moment....

Planned on spending my Sunday watching the Little League World Series but all the games were rescheduled for tomorrow. So my apple pie and cracker jacks will have to wait until then. If this pie makes it threw the night I'd be worried my family has been turned into robots!!

The only other female was an eleven year old who was taller then me. She thought it was funny to keep picking me up... I was not amused. 😑 I have yet to see abs in trunks this summer. Other then the Hubby anyways...

Ate lunch with Hubby's good friend. Ended up getting into a very heated debate over Matriarchy relationships. "The woman is supposed to have the power, all she has to do is withhold sex." :confused: So punishing myself is how I am supposed to control a man? Smh. I can't be the only old fashioned woman alive, but I sure feel like it.

Sex should not be used as leverage or a "weapon".

Further, in a "healthy" relationship, there should be a balance of "power".

I try to be nice and helpful for intrinsic reasons (it is the right thing to do), not because he will "buy" me sex!:rolleyes:
