Braking Contract

I thought you were talking about that movie, Fourest Gump...

I like Oats. Cheerios or oatmeal, or oatmeal cookies. I used to make my own cookies for the longest time, with less butter, less sugar, and more oats than the recipe tells you to, and more spices. Makes a really good breakfast bar.

But I never got into instant oatmeal. The texture is mealy, IMO.
Fourest Gump ran it's course a long time ago... I wonder if they ever thought of doing a porn spoof and calling Furriest Gimp? It could be a fetish film.

I like my oatmeal with a little brown sugar and raisins cooked in. Cranberries are good too. And you're right about the quick oats - those are just nasty.

ok....enough with the PM's telling me how no one on here cared enough to find out what really happened and what you are going through.........you evidently want people to know but you want them to ask you.

I tried giving you the same advice others on here did.......stop with the smart ass remarks to people, stop the ranting, give up the bratty attitude and talk civil to people.........you dont want to do that , you seem to want attention and are sitting back reading what people post and I dont know if you are sending others PM's like you are doing to me or not. But enough is enough..........I'm not putting up with your childish outburst and nasty attitude......after all you pm'd me.....I didnt pm you.

You said all you needed to do was vent and no I dont need to talk to your sub.......and if in fact he will tell me you are the best mistress hes had......then why did he leave. Evidently he something else going on in his life and needed to...... oh well , anyway dont pm me anymore.

You can put her on ignore, sweetie.

thanks......after about 8 pm's of ranting and bashing everyone on here......I have had enough......some people dont want help.......they want attention.

well, well, well, seems everyone on this thread has been taken in on a big joke.......just read a thread on BDSM Personals entitled.....seeking to please my Mistress....by the same person and her sub who she has sworn has left her......and everything seems sooooooooo fine with them...... and the posts are current.......the last one having been posted only two hours ago .......

so I guess it was all just to have a big laugh on everyone here.

Another big scam

We've had a nice discussion about breakfast foods, anyway. ;)

I try, believe it or not, NOT to be a snob about grammar and writing online. It's perfectly possible to be eloquent in mispelled, ungrammatical English.

But the idea of two people playing D/s online in such execrable language...

It's like... bad body odor, or something.

Virtually speaking.

Does anyone else feel that way?

Stella, I am a fan of eating breakfast like a king.

A couple of times a year it takes most of sunday morning, between cooking, coffee, dishes, walking to shops for ingredients...

I have to make the big lattes first, or else I can't make the walk to buy ingredients.

And a giant cup of hot coffee and milk takes a while to drink... :cattail:

And those of us with learning disabilities and grammatical black holes appreciate it. But when those of us with said writing issues are looking at a post and thinking "Dude. Try a little harder, yeah?" it's just not a good sign.

I can't help but wonder, though, how someone with atrocious writing skills would maintain the necessary amount of communication that's needed for D/s - especially if it's all online.

Say no to cereal.

Toast is the way to go, if you can get your hands on a full cooked breakfast.

Sometimes it takes a little while to get used to a poster's style. They might be native to some other language, and then you get the equivalent of a charming accent in English. Or a stutter in the case of dyslexia, but what they say is worth listening to.

Something I recently found out I liked-- leftover fish. Cold, from the fridge.

Who knew?

From how it looks on this topic, Lacus is a mistress to jamesie. Female and male, respectively.
That at least explains why jamesie was so defensive on Lacus' behalf...

You're exactly right...........I am ROFLMAO over these two.......they have a thread on BDSM personals and if you read it.......they are playing a game with people......and lacus' grammer and spelling got soooooooooooo much better than on this thread and all that anger seems to have vanished.
Too funny for words

Outa here

another thing that could be learned from all of this...

Writing eloquently makes a big difference on a forum. Words are what we have here, they are our tools, so use them to your best ability.

I understand what you are saying but i kinda hope this isnt the case. Or at least its not as black and white as that.

Some people and I point Bloved as an example have the ability to create eloquent prose, it doesnt mean that their message is any more valid. In his case the general consensus was it couldnt be more off target.

Spelling isnt something I'm going to get my knickers in a twist over if the overall message is one of merit.

I like that this board is inclusive and welcomes people who may struggle with their written English, for one reason or another.

But I have just noticed something and I think I may have been guilty of it in the past too. Sometimes I think we use other peoples spelling and grammar as a weapon and way to berate them. I think there are inconsistencies in that respect. You can see more examples of this on the board, than examples of someone pointing out a grammatical error to someone who is regarded as a friend or a community member. And that doesnt seem right, particularly when we are pointing out that they are behaving in an immature way or acting like a dick.

Grammar/spelling/punctuation cant be that important here because there are countless times when mistakes are made and nothing is said.

And I was interested in what Chy said about people with dyslexia etc reading and thinking how bad the post was. It made me think..... I wonder how many people dont contribute because they are worried that their dyslexia for example, might be picked up on.

As for the OP, bloved et al..... An arse is an arse regardless of their command of the english language.

I'm sorry I know you are all chatting about brekkie cereal and I've just got all heavy and shit, but I think its a really interesting discussion to have. Maybe I will start a thread or maybe not lol

Minx1, i think those things are important when the community is already hostile to the poster. A friend? We know them, and are willing to forgive.
Someone's being an asshole, it's like pointing out that they haven't changed clothes in a week, and don't they have any common decency?

And of course, as Bloved proves, anyone can be an asshole and be welldressed at the same time. Bad writing skills aren't the only criteria we judge people on, just one-- and its importance can loom large in the right circumstances.

I agree, it is very interesting!

i would like too make this last post to the people i snapped at. I'm sorry that i did but i was just venting. i had had a really bad week and it just pushed me over and i exploded. i am sry i just hope that you all will please just leave it alone now. i dont want too fight with anyone you would be surprised if you just came too me and talked with me with out being angry with me. all you need is to understand and talk with me and you may learn something.
