I decided to reward my wife's hard work at weight loss by buying her a boudoir photography package for Christmas. We haven't discussed any details as yet but I'd love to see her in just a pair of boots and some latex opera gloves I purchased some years ago. Of course, I want her to pick whatever level of nudity and/or costuming she's comfortable with. This is HER gift and I want her to be happy. Any thoughts? Should I make the suggestion?

Yeah right you want nudie pics of you wife, what's next a table saw:D *tease*
A suggestion isn't a big deal as long as she knows she gets last say:)

The works

Thrown in a hung guy or two and you can convert her from bored housewife to the next great porn starlet. :)

That is actually a good idea... After when her hair and make-up are done and she's pumped get the shots you want yourself:cattail:

It's a lot more fun than just paying someone to take pictures for you. Challenge is in controlling yourself until the pictures are done.

That said, I'd like the thought of my wife coming on to another man, camera or no...

If she had a knowing smile and a twinkle in her eye, you could always fantasize that it went a bit further than just pics; if that's your thing, of course.

If not, ignore that last bit!

Just a quick suggestion: get a good photographer and stylist. People who regularly do boudoir work. Ask for samples. Make sure they're good at it. It may seem expensive now, but in a couple of decades, you're look at the shot and love your for it.

Yeah. I've got to agree with Gary's advice. I'm a photographer too, and I've done a ton of boudoir shoots.

1) Check the quality of the photographers work, and look for it with women of many different shapes and sizes. It's easy to get a few models in for your catalogue, but you want to know they can pull off the shots regardless of the size/shape/nervousness of the normal camera-shy members of the public.

2) Discuss what levels the photographer is comfortable shooting. I don't do open-leg, I don't do porn, most photographers are the same. Boudoir is about class, beauty, elegance, femininity. Making a woman look and feel as beautiful as possible.

3) Find out who the stylist is before the shoot. Check her website. Check the quality of her work.

4) Get your wife to work out what level of shots she's comfortable with before the shoot then stick to it. i.e. Topless? Sheer underwear? Implied nudity with nothing visible? Nude? Suggestive? You can always shoot the x-rated stuff when she gets back to the house!

5) Be ready when she gets home. Chances are she's going to be feeling VERY good ;)

This is my preference with hubby taking the pics. But can I have wine instead of chocolates? LOL
