I just saw the last out in the NLCS, where the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Houston Astros to advance to the World Series. This will start on Saturday when they go to Boston to play the Red Sox.

I was glad to see the Cards win just as I was glad to see the Red Sox win. I think these are the two best teams in their respective leagues and it should be one of the best World Series ever. These are two of the best baseball towns in the world. It could go either way and I don't know whom to root for.

I have always had some affection for the Cards, although I have never lived near St. Louis. It must be because of Stan the Man and because of the close relationship they have with the Oakland A's. I also like the Red Sox, though because of the problems they have had over the years.

Yay Cards! I've lived near St. Louis my whole life and it warms my heart to see the enthusiasm of the fans in this neck of the woods. Some of the best experiences of my life have revolved around Cardinal games; either watching them at home or at Busch. :D

I'm glad to see the Bosox because of their history, the passion of their fans and because I hate the Yankees.

I was not rooting for the Cards, but I don't mind because their fans treated Tony Gwynn so well when he was going for 3k and because I would love to see Woody Williams and Larry Walker get rings. Put Jim Edmunds on that list too. What a catch!!!!
