Silicon Valley, where I live, may be full of
rich engineers, but they are BORING! Local paper
just announced readers' opinions of best of everything.

For best thing to do on a weekend, sex came in
SECOND, just ahead of sleping and just after going to
the beach. Maybe they combine all 3? Isn't Sex on
the Beach a drink, as in a conversation I once overheard
in an elevator:

secretary to coworker: I saw you guys at the bar last night. Did you and your boyfriend try Sex on the Beach?

coworker: No, but we shared a Screaming Orgasm. (Two straws? Did they spit or swallow afterward?)

(And did you hear about the woman who sued TWO men for
child support because she wasn't sure which was the real
father? It was a paternity suit with two pairs of pants--
drumstick rimshot, please).

Anyway, even worse, sex came in THIRD for best adrenaline
rush (after skydiving)! DAMN but engineers are BORING!
I'll take my sweet lovey-dovey hunny-bunny Frank's
endless lust for me, rather than that, any day!

The little ring they wear on there finger is to .......

stop it from going too far up their nose.

Engineers...people who are great with numbers but lacking the charisma necessary to be accountants.

I work with engineers every day at work, and I have to say that,I couldn't live like that.

These people(men & women)walk around with their "ALL MIGHTY" I'm better than you attitudes, looking down on me because I'm just a common worker. They have lots of book learning, but they don't have any common sense. What looks good on paper and their computer, just don't work out on the plant floor.

When I do talk to one(which is very seldom)or joke with them, they act like their face is going to break if they laugh.Or that their going to get in trouble if they are seen talking to me.

I'm not saying that all engineers are like that, but most of them are like that. That I have meant.

"Lacking charisma to be accountants". That's PERFECT!
Yes, lot of engineers I work with act superior, especally
the Ph.D. folks. I've spent 25 years in the computer/electronics biz, then kids fresh out of school with a BSEE and NO experience walk in at $125,000/year.
ARRRGGGGHHHH!

Even as wooden as their personalities are, I can't see anyone who's had GOOD sex ever ranking it 2nd or 3rd to
ANYTHING else! They can have their superior attitudes,
they'll never know the superiority of experiencing true
erotic joy.

That's mah uh-pin-yun and Ize a-stickin' to it!

To paraphrase Dr. Johnson, much can be made of an engineer if he is caught early enough. I have one of those awful degrees (ChemE) but write occasional stories here at Lit and enjoy sex as my favorite hobby.

Then again, I am an insomniac and the beaches in Indiana are nothing to write home about :)

Yikes!!!!

High five RonG, I have a degree in engineering too (Civil engineering). And my favorite hobby is sex and write erotic stories on the bb and in the futur in the stories section. I spend time in the chat room also. If you have time, why don't you stop by and ask if Jenny29 lacks charisma, or whatesoever. I think people tend to generalize too much.

There are badass, etc in every profession!!

whoa! geez! settle down, people...

some of us engineers (or engineers-in-training) would like to think that we possess at least a marginal degree of charisma!

those are some harsh words, and i must confess that i'm deeply, deeply wounded *sniffle*

:D

Engineer?...I'd like to be a railroad engineer...I've ridden in the boxcars long enough, I would like to be in the driver's seat!!
