I always love political music(particularly the anarchist or at the very least anti-capitalist)

But I've noticed that the meme section doesn't have any other variety

So you know what I'm making a thread for slapping music.

Music that just slaps(with a political edge to it)(this is the political chat

I'm going to give an example how I would at least like the format
(For music)

1*Title
2*Genre
3*Political leaning
4*By/covered by(preferably as see more of their work)

5. *Video link

6 Thoughts and feelings towards the song

7(Final) interesting facts about the song in its history

Examples

"Mother anarchy loves her children"

Genre: old folk and quasi choir

Leaning: anarcho communist (or originally anarchist)
Really just perfect a beautiful song about camaraderie.

(And the concept of no ruler, united we stand divided we fall)

Music videos

Genre: parody.

(changing the lyrics but still trying to make a point)(or in other words the "Hitler bunker" method)

Political leaning

Generally anti-capitalist

Very good and very interesting if a bit short

Bon Bons
Punk
Communist

My cheap computer speakers can't do much with Mt. Tai's brute force sound. When I saw them live they were the loudest band I ever heard by a wide margin.

yewtu.be is a current workaround for age restricted vids at youtube.

Worth learning.

What a great idea for a thread - political music and nothing but the music! Love it!!!!!

Spanish Civil War - The song is actually the official anthem of the autonomous state of Asturias in Spain. It is commonly played on the bagpipes and was written in the 1890s, but has become one of the most famous Spanish songs for guitar. There have been versions of the song written in Polish and Portuguese, and The Doors used the song’s melody on their song Spanish Caveman.

Asturias,
patria querida.
Asturias,
de mis amores.
Quien estuviera en Asturias
en algunas ocasiones
Tengo que subir al árbol
tengo que coger la flor
y dársela a mi morena

Asturias, patria queridaa
Asturias, de mis amoores...

Here's a more traditional version

Haymaker - First to Die

British working class......

We're the first to fight, We're the first to die
And the last to find the bloody reason why
Again and again since I don't know when
The first to die has always been the working man

"There is a House in...Neu Berlin"

Not sure what you'd classify this as, but "House in New Orleans" it ain't.
