I just finished reading the teaser "look inside" bit. It was well written and an interesting switch from some old sci-fi/fantasy books I've read in the past where someone from our time gets slung into the past.

I thank you for 'well written.' I always try to take the path less traveled when I write a book. Readers may like my books or not, but they will find something different form the usual.
 
Immanent wasn't the best choice. The violence was a part of the security response considering the size of the armed adversary.

Its not a bad word choice, but you spelled it wrong its

imminent with an I.

You should do a quick edit on it.

imminent

adjective

1. likely to occur at any moment; impending: Her death is imminent.

2. projecting or leaning forward; overhanging.
