This stuff is heavenly.

I found a new one this week, now I smell like sugar cookies and my skin feels divine.

Who else likes body polishes?

Sugar or salt based?

You're a Georgia Girl after my heart.

I love salt scrub. My shower just isn't complete without it. I'll try any new one I see, and have even made some myself (it's easy).

How do you make them?

This one is sugar based with vanilla overtones.

btw......after your heart is a good place to be. It is a beautiful magical heart.

You made me cry, GG.

Thank you.

For salt scrub, use fine sea salt and a good base oil, jojoba or avocado or whatever strikes your fancy. Saturate about two cups of salt with the oil, topping off with a 1/2 inch or so. Then just drop in a couple of your favorite essential oils to scent.

I've never made sugar scrub, but I would think it would go about the same. I just don't know what grain or type of sugar to use.

All of that stuff would be together anyway at your local health food store.

I swear, my skin is baby soft since I started using it.

*muah* to you, sweet lady.

:)

You know I would catch of the tears with a kiss......take them all away.

Smile beautiful, your soul shines from there.

What would mix good with sandlewood? I love that scent.

I LOVE salt scrubs...my skin feels soooo luscious after using them...

My 2 favorites are Origins peppermint salt scrub and
Gingerbread Man hot salt scrub by Philosophy:)

Eucalyptus would be really yummy, and invigorating too.

Titiana, Hot salt scrub? I have to hear about this one. Does it feel warm?

Yes, it does feel warm, and smells JUST like a warm piece of gingerbread...mmmmm....also, this one does not have oil, but it does have other moisturizers instead, so you don't get that "OMG I have to becareful stepping out of the slippery tub" mess you can get with the oil based ones, yet it leaves my skin just as yummy feeling as the oil ones.

Thanks for the scent help. I love clean fragrances.

Does the Gingerbread one smell like gingerbread? That would be good for the holidays.

Time to go shopping.

My shower looks like a store there are so many different things in there.

My shower is like that too...My nephew was staying with me a few months ago and he went in to take a shower, when he came out he had this puzzled look on his face, I asked what was wrong, He said " Aunt Tat, I had no idea what was what in your shower, there are so many shampoos and conditioners and shower gels and body things, that I got EXTREMELY confused and didn't know what to use maybe you should post a how to chart in there!"...lol....it cracked me up:D

You're welcome, Tranquility. Just make sure to come back and tell us what combinations really rocked. :)

I had someone comment that they liked the way I smelled.

I had to warn the man that I probably wouldn't smell the same the next time we met, there are 8 different shower gels, three body polishes and 7 kinds of shampoo.

No telling what I may smell like.

One has to delight in the company of a woman giving off an unexpectedly appealing scent...

You Ladies Rock

I read this thread the other night and thought "I gotta try this stuff."

I did ... It's heaven... :D

I love the stuff Lush has, and the Clinique Shower Exfoliator.

But close. :)

What's really cool is that the invigorating ones really are. They are cool and refreshing and wow, wake up! My mom just gave me a grapefruit one that is heavenly in the morning. And the relaxing scents like lavender, really are perfect for night showers.

*sigh*

It is my curse to live in a drought state.
