Hi everyone!
So lately I've been watching a show called Taboo. Its a National Geographic series which covers a lot of topics that are taboo in various cultures across the world. Now a few of the episodes are on body modifications, a perfect body, fat acceptance etc. Watching these episodes made me realize how many people undergo body modifications of some sort including tattoos or cosmetic surgery.
I was wondering what people think about body modification. I personally am completely against any kind of modification whether it is tattoos or liposuction or botox etc. In my opinion we shouldn't tamper with the structural and physical aspects of our body due to its complexity. There are so many risks involved with body modifications that it seems like a very high price to pay for your health. I saw some really extreme examples of modifications in different cultures as well which was quite interesting since it really shows how each culture has their own view of a "perfect body". What do you guys think about modifications? What really is the definition of a "perfect body"?
