artlover, get to a doctor - quickly. Are they little black bugs, like fruit flies?

If so, this could be a sign of Detached Retina, which could be very, very serious. I know, it happened to me and I lost the vision in that eye COMPLETELY. It was restored, through surgery, but only to about 70%.

I am not trying to make you panic, but this also just happened to my brother. He ignored it for a few days and then found out his retina was detaching. They got it, but maybe to late - at present, he only has about 25% vision in the eye. Incidentally, it has nothing to do with "seeing" - he is the only one in our family who DOESN'T wear glasses.
