I am SOOOOOOO depressed!

Today is my 40th birthday. I logged on and saw the article about Christopher Reeve dying and burst into tears. In fact I highlighted/copied the article, and posted its own thread on the GB board. Now I know there were other threads, but none of them had a detailed article. So what happened? Lady Guinivere and estevie had to jump in my shit and make fun of me for posting it. I have admired Mr. Reeve for a very long time. I had the biggest crush on him when I was young and saw "Superman" for the first time. How can people be so mean?

My reaction was alot like your's hon.....I too have admired him for many, many years. And I always looked at him as a kindred spirit, if you will, as we both have the EXACT same injury...even tho I'm walking and he's not. Always made me wonder, "Why him and not me?" When I say "exact", I mean down to the proverbial wire. I was sad this morning...shocked and very, very sad. Don't let anyone fault you for your feelings...afterall, isn't that what makes each and everyone of us unique???? *hugs you* I'm sorry for your loss.
