I read this on here a while back someone was saying how it is really dangerous to blow into a vagina as it can cause serious damage. That's kinda all I know.

Can anyone give me more info on this? I mean is it easy to do it by accident while going down on your girl? The thought kinda worries me and I wanna know y'know, how common it is, or what the effects are and is it easily do-able by accident?

okay, there's a difference between accidentally letting a breath out around your gf's vagina, and actually blowing into it, with all the edges sealed off. What can happen if you seal off the vagina (with your mouth) and blow into it, is that the air will travel into the vagina, through the cervix, and into the womb. This can then push the air into the fallopain tubes, and more air into the bloodstream... when there's a bubble of air in the bloodstream, it travels around, and if it makes it to the heart, it can cause a heart attack, and if it goes to the brain (less likely), it can cause a stroke.
These are pretty extreme problems from something so simple, but my reply is educated (I recently looked it up).
if you happen to be licking your girlfriend's clit, and you breathe out around her vagina, the air can escape to either side of it, and you're fine. But don't purposely blow INTO the vagina.

Ah I follow... air can kinda pass in and out but escapes. There isn't much chance of anything happening unless you make a seal with your mouth and blow into it. Which obviously is stupid and I would never come about doing something like that.

Another way to look at this is that many people force a LOT of air into the vagina depending upon the position they use. Do this long enough and you can really build up more air than you could ever hope to do with your mouth. There is no direct route for air to get into the blood. It would just be held until it was expelled or slowly absorbed thru the membranes.

I know of at least two cases where this made the news -- one was in the Tampa Tribune circa 1976-1978 if you want to (can) search their archives.

There are only certain circumstances where an Embolism is truly likely to form -- the most dangerous is the early stages of pregnancy because the placenta can allow air into the bloodstream, because it is more permeable than normal tissue.

There are a couple of other conditions that are dangerous, but I don't recall the particulars -- I think certain stages in menstruation are included -- but I do know that while it requires a combination of conditions for blowing into (inflating) the vagina can be fatal or cause other injuries and should be avoided.

I'm trying to imaging just how one goes about sealing off a vagina an then blowing air into it. It seems to me that if it is sealed then you can't blow air into it. Now I suppose that you could accomplish this using some type of device or some combination of devices but then I can't imagine that many people would have these devises handy at any given moment. Therefore they would have to plan and prepare for the act of sealing off a vagina and blowing into it. Given that the average human can barely blow up a balloon, I can't imagine that there are many humans capable of blowing enough air into a vagina to cause any harm. Perhaps if they trained vigorously for such an occasion and really increased the volume of air that they were able to exhale someone MIGHT be able to cause some damage, if indeed it is possible to cause damage that way. Even so it is hard to imagine that any human could create more air pressure than that of an average penis (or dildos or cucumbers or fists) pumping in and out of a vagina or rectum. Since those activities area occurring millions of time per second, per day and there don't seem to be a noticeable amount of women dying from this activity I have to conclude that this is really a none issue.

But, let's assume that blowing into a vagina is somehow special in the laws of physics. Given that you would have to seal off the vagina and then figure out a way to blow air into a sealed vagina (which I discussed earlier) the big question remains: Why would anyone do this?

That's the condition that is most often associated with this problem, but there are others that can be hazardous -- certain points in the menstrual cycle for example. It just requires an especially kinky person to be blowing into a menstruating woman often enough for it to be worth warning people about.

I once read a book written by a pathologist. He wrote some of his strangest cases down.
