It s NOT well written at all. This habit of two-sentence paragraphs only works well for humor or pathos-- and all the Johnathon Livingston Seagull, hallmark-card platitudes make my editing pen itch.

Just my two cents :)

YES! God, yes, this. Learn to write a proper paragraph, for fucks sake.

He is writing propaganda. That how you do it, with short, unrelated, easy to remember, emotional hitting one (or two) liners.

@BiaTcHiNFiRe
I have nothing against his eulogy of love, as I agree it is a beautiful emotion. And I do not disagree that love based relationships are highly fulfilling.

I do however disagree that love "cures all" and can take the place of therapy.
Or that everybody that does not ascribe to his believe that "you should not engage in intimate behavior without emotional connections" is an abuser or low self-esteem damaged individual.

If you only read his writing, he comes off as a romantic, caring, lovely guy.
To bad that if you engage in a discussion (AKA you don't just nod in awe and agreement) with him you get to see how intolerant, narcissistic, paranoid and callous he can be.

And spammy!

Isn't this the guy who jammed usenet with a hundred messages a day?

Rida, you've never attempted to engage in a discussion with me.

B has, as have several other people who have followed the discussions here.

As one person put it last night:

"Just keep in mind, that even though a bunch post mean things. You have no idea how many of us sit in the shadow and agree with you. We're just scared to get reamed by the bdsm community."

They aren't playing with you anymore. You have been shunned. Just so you know. :)

Excellent! You're well on your way to collecting enough followers to make opening your own forum feasible. :rose:

You know, there are a lot of sites that let you set up a forum instantly;

~smile~...

the sort of thing people do far too often when they're trying very hard to seem casual and unaffected.

i want a poll option for sending him some viagra and a hooker, because the poor sod is clearly frustrated.

Why would you ever want to subject anyone to such contact? If you're all that concerned about the guy, take up a collection to buy him a Fleshlight.

But people are still talking "to" him, as if he were a normal, rational human being who listens.

I'm going to go have a lively debate with my nail clippers now, that should prove just as effective.

Ah, grasshopper, if the object of your debate is to educate and change the nail clippers, you will experience the same results.

HOWEVER, if your objective in the debate is to illuminate and educate those who are witnesses... Your debate with the nail clippers may prove quite valuable.

It is all a matter of perspective and intent... :D

LOL.

Or, regardless of my intent, maybe the people witnessing me having a lively debate with my nail clippers would just call the looney bin. ;)

Yes, well, there IS that to consider too! *LOL*

Not to worry, grasshopper. There are mani cures for this problem.

Well, let's see if the facts can be summed up about Bloved's life here.

He showed up. He started off the same, and seemed to be a decent promotor of anti-abuse by predators.
The debate turned to everyone realizing they were being bumped into the "casual" (i.e. abusive, predatory) group and became understandably defensive.
Trolling ensues.
The attention eventually slowed as people began to place him on ignore.
Around the same time, jokes appeared involving the word "casual", joking about the label, and hiding in white / grey colors references to the "casual" community.
23 topics were made in about 30 minutes. Two topics now remain, containing all the content of the 23 originals.
Bloved can't go on another spam-topic-creation tirade without risking banning.
The many people who have him on ignore don't really care anymore, and just enjoy the joking around.
The few people who don't, either talk with him or just don't care anyway as long as he doesn't flood the forum again.

Sound like an accurate brief history?

Rida, you've never attempted to engage in a discussion with me.

Wrong.
I did. I was not just nodding in raptured awe and agreement to every single statement you made.

And since I'm a bit of a stickler to make sure my points are clear, I'd like to point out, again that:

I have nothing against his eulogy of love, as I agree it is a beautiful emotion. And I do not disagree that love based relationships are highly fulfilling.

I do however disagree that love "cures all" and can take the place of therapy.
Or that everybody that does not ascribe to his believe that "you should not engage in intimate behavior without emotional connections" is an abuser or low self-esteem damaged individual.

I will even go as far as saying that I wish everybody could experience selfless, deeply connected love.

But I will also reiterate that because someone want and enjoy BDSM play without love, does not make them necessarily dysfunctional, or abused or abuser.

They aren't playing with you anymore. You have been shunned. Just so you know. :)

Sorry WD. I just had to make my point. A tendency that has brought me close to be in trouble with my PYL a few times ;)

He posted here a few months back. Wanted to tell everyone they were polluting the world and making people rape and abuse with their sex stories. LoveIsAllYouNeed. Most of that thread still exists over in Author's Hangout, it's good for a few more laughs.

I was going to ask if Stella's favorite vB plugin can ignore a user in one forum but not another, and then I remembered where I'm a moderator. :D :nana:
