Bloody hell, I love my Mum!

First off: Mum, I'm sorry, but this is too good not to share. :p

I was talking to my Mum on the phone earlier (as we do, sometimes twice a day  ) and she suddenly went all giggly on me. She told me she'd received a little pink envelope in the post this morning. So, of course, I wanted to know what it was.

She told me she went into the living room and quickly opened it. The first thing she saw was something saying, "Want some hot loving?" Hahaha! Then she said that in the envelope was a sachet sample of warm KY Jelly. I said, "Bloody brilliant, I've heard about that stuff, but never tried it." She said she hid it under the cushion, because she didn't want my Dad to see it, especially on a Friday night when he gets back from the pub. LOL!

I told her it was a shame she didn't get it last week, she could've put it in my bro's wedding card for their honeymoon. She agreed it was indeed a shame.

She then suggested I take it home with me when I go see her tomorrow, as I'd probably get more enjoyment from it. She's gonna try and sneak it in my handbag, without my Dad seeing. Hahaha!

(Dad, if, by some chance, you do happen to read this, and before Mum has me spirit it away, it's under the big cushion on her armchair. ;) )

I love having these conversations with my Mum. I'm so open with her and I can feel her slight embarrassment. Bless her heart. :D

Lou :p

I got some of that too...but I signed up on the net to get it....hmmmm ;)

*giggles*

I can just imagine the conversation if my mum gets one..*gulp*

Lou, my mom was never, ever open with me about anything even remotely sexual until about ten years ago. Now, she's like your mother - very open with me, and I think that she embarasses me more than I embarass her. She's even told me some stuff that she probably shouldn't have, but my two sisters live out on the west coast, and I'm the only one that sees her with any sort of regularity, so I suppose she feels closer to me than she does my sisters.

Took her long enough to realize I was an adult, but once you get to that point in your relationship with your parents, it's wonderful.

:rose:

:D

I love your mum, too. That's really sweet.

And she's clearly got your best interests at heart!

;)

My mum, bless her dear departed soul, got embarassed at films like...
James Bond,if there was a kissing scene
My sister watched The French Lieutenants Woman with her,
Mum kept getting up to make 'another cup of tea'
How I got conceived I'll never know

LOL! I bet my Dad signed up for it on her behalf. He does that kind of thing. He's probably wondering when it's gonna turn up. Hahaha!

my mom would have loved it!
ofcourse im assuming she would according to the VAST array of toys she had... cuz... i think she had more than i do

nut doesnt fall too far from the tree.

My mom said goodbye (not by choice) before we ever really had a chance to say hello so you folks are all lucky regardless.

Lovemy mom too.

Had some trouble with the bank today and it screwed up my travel plans to go home. Called my folks, told em I would be delayed. So mom calls back half an hour later and askes if I know where a western union is in town. She was going to send me travel money. they are already going to put me up for free for almost a month while I recover from the stones. And they are springing for a dive cruise in the carribean for me, because they think I need some fun after such a rough start to the year. Now they are offering to pony up gas money.

Mom and dad are both retired and while not rich, they have been so careful with their money so they could both enjoy their golden years. It's humbling to realize, even at 35, I'm still her baby, and they are still as willing to make sacrifices for me as they were when Dad worked a month on the night shift as well as day so they could send me to Washington DC for the national young leadders conference when I was 12.

I think most mothers are like that. I know mine is and so is my wife toward her six children who range in age from 29 to 42. I know that because we are the sole support for one of them and her four children.

By the way, I doubt that my mom would have any idea of any sexual use for KY Jelly.
