First off: Mum, I'm sorry, but this is too good not to share.
I was talking to my Mum on the phone earlier (as we do, sometimes twice a day
) and she suddenly went all giggly on me. She told me she'd received a little pink envelope in the post this morning. So, of course, I wanted to know what it was.
She told me she went into the living room and quickly opened it. The first thing she saw was something saying, "Want some hot loving?" Hahaha! Then she said that in the envelope was a sachet sample of warm KY Jelly. I said, "Bloody brilliant, I've heard about that stuff, but never tried it." She said she hid it under the cushion, because she didn't want my Dad to see it, especially on a Friday night when he gets back from the pub. LOL!
I told her it was a shame she didn't get it last week, she could've put it in my bro's wedding card for their honeymoon. She agreed it was indeed a shame.
She then suggested I take it home with me when I go see her tomorrow, as I'd probably get more enjoyment from it. She's gonna try and sneak it in my handbag, without my Dad seeing. Hahaha!
(Dad, if, by some chance, you do happen to read this, and before Mum has me spirit it away, it's under the big cushion on her armchair.
)
I love having these conversations with my Mum. I'm so open with her and I can feel her slight embarrassment. Bless her heart.
