Are you a blogger?
If so why?
What do you blog about?
Is it a public blog or private blog?

If not why not?

yes i blog and there's a link to it in my sig. i'm an insufferably opinionated bastard and i make no bones about it.

the site i use is actually to me preferable to others b/c it doesn't allow for file uploads, so no graphics: it's just text. to me, as an aspiring writer, that's just cool as hell.

public/private blog? i don't understand.

i blog about anything that strikes my fancy. like i said: opinionated bastard. :>

Yes, I have a blog.

I'm like Silver in that I'm highly opinionated, but I find that much of my writing is about personal experiences as well. It's a place for me to let off some steam.

We have a blog behind our house, which is very unusual for a suburban location. Unfortunately, it's home to many frogs and salamanders and an occasional Irishman named Peat.

Yep, me, too!

Though admittedly I hadn't really even known what one was until just this past summer.

I'm an aspiring writer, too; so the fact that I can't quite figure out how to properly post pics---though in theory I could--- is actually fine with me.

I blog about my "fan fiction" for characters in roleplaying games, plus a few random thoughts. But I try to keep it focused on the writing/character developement process, and I also post my work there as free stories (it's fan fiction; besides copyright infringement, there's not a market for it unless you're R.A. Salvatore writing about dark elves).

To date, I've got one 133-pg novella (that six people have read so far, all enjoyed it), a 60pg "sequel" that was "awesome" (so I'm told) and opened the door for another, one novella in process (50pg; and at least four have asked me when the hell I'm going to finish it), and two shorter stories (<20pages; enjoyable, I'm told). Plus my blogs/thoughts on writing. What can I say, I've always been long-winded in writing! Just look at this post!!!

Since I've gotten some interested readers who've all told me my stories are "fun to read" and they're glad they tried them, I like to think I'm not just the typical gamer gushing on about her character(s) that no one else gives a shit about.

Public or private? I suppose anyone who found it could look at it...it is the internet, after all.

I'll not be posting a link, though; they're fantasy/horror/cyberpunk stories (sometimes of an adult nature), true, but still linked to rpg's, so my audience is definitely gamers, not Litsers.

I am a repeat blogger. I had one at one site that I started two years ago, but I haven't posted anything there for 6 months at least.

I do have one now, such as it is. To be honest, I have trouble writing in it. The question that keeps running through my mind is, who would possibly be interested in what I have to say?

Yeah, I have one. The link's in my sig.

I figure it's more appropriate to collect my thoughts there than force the HT folk to read my random ramblings. :)

I've had 2 different ones. I haven't posted in my Xanga one for so long it's probably been deleted or inactivated. I had one on Yahoo, but deleted most of my posts one day when I was in a really pissed-off mood. Haven't posted since, altho it isn't inactive, I guess?

I think of myself as more of a BLOGNOSTIC.......I really could care a less about the whole blogging thing....i barely have time in my life to buzz into lit for a little "how to" time these days.......its nice that others have time to write like that......get to reading that sometime after I finish a couple of classics......lady chatterly or kama sutra to start......

I've toyed with the idea on and off, but like BG I'm not so sure I have anything interesting to say, plus I am notoriously bad at finishing things.
I think if I were to blog it would end up being a pretty dispiriting piece of work.
Then again the wind may change, so you never know.

We don't have a blogpond at our place, although we do have a bleek that has blogs and bleeches when it has water in it.

I use my blog as a place to dump my thoughts. Surprisingly enough people actually read it.

Are you a blogger? I blog, a very little at myspace. Of course, mine aren't as in depth or perhaps thought provoking as others.

If so why? It is nice to get my thoughts down though. Even if I'm the only one that reads them, lol.

What do you blog about? Whatever strikes my fancy or is weighing on my mind at the time.

Is it a public blog or private blog? only my 'friends' can see it. It is semi-public I guess.

If not why not? People I don't know don't need to read about my thoughts ~ not sure they would want to anyway.

Because some people's reading comprehension skills suck worse than mine.
