block the spame?

is there a setting or something i can click on that will watch for key words or even just jibberish type of sentences and automatically ignore / block the posts?
I've noticed today that theres been a LOT more trash spam and was just wondering if there was a way to ignore it without wasting my time.

I don't think it's possible, but don't quote me on that.
Sometimes people who want to spam get through the setup and post their nonsense. Luckily, this time the links don't work, so he spammed for nothing and will be deleted shortly.

The only thing you can do is report to Laurel or Manu, and block them.

I usually report the posts and add the spammer(s) to my Ignore List.

If you're using Firefox, you can use FfVb, which will enable you to block threads and users. It's like the ignore function, only better.

Whenever that guy posts his nonsense spam, I just ignore him. Refresh the original page, and all of his posts are hidden.

If you do report a post before iggying the poster, it's nice to indicate that in the thread(s) so others know that no action is necessary on their part and the mods aren't overwhelmed by reports regarding the same issue.
