Blind Date (Closed)

"No... I've heard a movie is the worst thing to do on a first date... How about a walk in the park?" He said with a smile.

She laughed "I wouldn't know never paid much attention, but a walk in the park sounds better" She said softly.

Ryan smiled he paid for the meal and they walked to the park hand in hand. It was a beautiful night. Not too hot, not too cold... It was just right...

She loved this kind of thing, it was perfect and now? She was beyond happy about every little thing. "It's lovely"

"It sure is..." They continued to walk hand in hand... "Hey, want to run barefoot through the grass?"

She heard what he said and chuckled a bit it was such a childish idea but she nodded slipping off her shoes, glad to be out of the heels.

Ryan slipped his shoes off and took his socks off and stuffed the socks into his shoes. He took Ruby's hand and they ran through the grass.

She smiled happily and could not help but chuckle "What are we five?" She smirked and winked at him and giggled a little bit.

Ryan laughed and shook his head, "Nope... I'm eight..." They got to bench and sat down to put their shoes back on... "I've had a wonderful time tonight, Ruby..."

She smirked "Smart ass" Right now? She was happy and put her shoes back on. "Yes it was, first date I thought I would ever have would flop"

Ryan smiled, "It's getting kind of late... Would you like me to drive you home?" Ryan wasn't sure where she lived.

She smiled "Yeah that would be nice, I live on 66 River Side" She said walking towards his car.

Ryan opened the car door for her. His car was just a normal SUV and once they were inside he started to drive to her apartment.

She smiled at him "Nice SUV" She said looking forward seeing everyone passing them by, which was nice.

Ryan smiled, "Thank you... I'm not bragging but it's a hybrid..." Soon, they were in front of her building... "I know this is our first date, and feel free to say, 'No...' but... can I come upstairs?"

She already knew the question with what he said, looking at him she smiled a little and nodded to him. "Id like that" She grabbed her key from her purse and had no idea how this would work what would happen but she was happy.

Ryan had no plans he never expected her to say yes to coming up. Ryan shut off the car and follow her upstairs.

She showed him to her place which was in the back of the apartment complex and opened it up showing him inside, slipping out of her heels. 'Make yourself at home"

Ryan looked around, It wasn't too big and it wasn't too small... "Mmm... Very nice..." He sat down on the couch...

She smiled at him "Thanks" She walked over to him and sat down. Looking at her date it was nice to have him here.

"So..." Said Ryan, "I didn't really expect you to say yes... So... I don't really know what we should do... I mean... I have an idea and we just met..."

She smiled a little bit "Well could make some coffee, would offer wine but not legally of age yet" She said softly.

"Coffee sounds good..." he said, "When is your birthday by the way?"

She stood up putting on a pot and thinking "Christmas" She said with a soft smile on her face, it was nice to even hear what she had said but enjoyed every little thing that was said.

Ryan smiled, "Your kidding...I love Christmas... It's my absolutely favorite time of year!"
