Black THUG on SCOTUS has a RACIST MELTDOWN

She was referring to the term the same as Chief Justice Roberts did in 2023 in Allen v Milligan.

I guess he's white though....so it's cool.

I do not recall that analogy exactly in Allen where I thought he sided with the liberal justices upholding the use of race as a remedial measure to counteract racial bloc voting that dilutes minority power. Did Jackson use his words exactly?

I read that already. It’s not quite the same. Roberts was talking about access more so than being actually disabled quite in the same way as a physical and/or mental limitation. I’ll leave it alone - I was just pointing that out.
If you read the slander from the right regarding her statement, they are focused on the word. And none of them have read further than their follows posted. She makes an argument expanding on the Mulligan ruling, which would be appealing to the Chief Justice, who wrote the opinion.

I get your additional comment though.

She is very articulate. I don’t believe for a second what the wingnuts in either side say. Thanks again.

Like it's cool for white people to gerrymander so black people have no representation, but it's not cool for the districts to be designed fairly so black people have representation equivalent to white people.

On everything except the law and the Constitution.
No. She knows her shit. You just don’t like her point of view. That doesn’t mean that she doesn’t grasp the concepts.

You sound just about as deluded as the far left felt about Justice Scalia’s abilities and when they would say that Justice Thomas had no agency of his own. These are incredibly poisonous and asinine accusations

Districting on the basis is race is illegal. "Majority-minority” districting is the practice of drawing electoral districts in which a racial or ethnic minority group constitutes a majority of the population. While this was initially encouraged under parts of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 (especially Section 2) to ensure minority representation, the Supreme Court has since ruled that districting based primarily on race can violate the Constitution, specifically, the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment.

Don't be silly. White folks trying to dilute black folk's votes by separating them and swamping them with the greater numbers of citizens in the majority is racism pure and simple. Like you say, "districting on the basis of race is illegal"!
