we could go back in time
put back together all the parts

when all we cared for
was music and looking good
when we laughed forever more
and together we always stood

but the music keeps skipping beats
your makeup keeps running
we were glued to our seets
watching the train wreck comming

neither one of us wanted to move
we sat together holding hands
like we had something to prove

so lets dye our hair to match our hearts
and go back then
but without the sad parts

but my time machine is broken
how i wish it where fixed
for all the happy words unspoken
and all the feelings mixed

they mingle in the past air
like they can't dissapear
but one of us didn't care
as the past was filled with fear
