Bisexual=Cheater????

OK... my last girlfriend told me that she was having qualms about falling in love with me because "Well bisexuality is just an excuse to cheat on me"

WHAT!?!?!
Can anyone help me out on this. Where did people come up with this idea.
I'm bisexual and would do myself severe bodily harm before i cheated on a person i was with.

Yet at the same time i have known bisexual men and women who screw anything that says "Ya wanna" regardless of who they are with at the time

So what's everyone's opinion on this. Are Bisexuality and cheating a matched set?

Yes she was a bit of one. ANd i did renounce men for her. (even though i had my fingers crossed)
I told her i would never cheat on her but she told me that it was part of being bisexual..... urgh!

These people are far too common.

Firstly, they are normally pre-prejudiced against something they don't understand.

Secondly, they are insecure and see bi-sexuality as a) giving you more OPTIONS to cheat on them and b) more for them to compete against.

Bottom line, you have to be secure in your relationship partner, be they straight, gay, or bi.

Sounds like her doubts about herself transferred to you. You're better off without.

I think the concept of "You're bisexual and so you are going to cheat on me." is really stupid.
