Birthday Present

"Bowling first or Cinema?"-He said as she picked Bowling they got in the car and drove to the Bowling Ally as they got out and went in he pulled her close and hugged her as they walked in to the desk. They paid for 2 games as they put there names on the board-"this should be fun..."-He smiled and put on the shoes as he went to find a house ball.-

Staci picked the right ball for her she always used and waited for him and was determined to beat him this time.

-Ash went first and bowling a 9 then spare a she sat back down.-"You going to try and beat me today?"

Staci smiled and said "I'm not just going to try i will!" and took her turn starting off spectacularly badly with a gutter ball followed by then knocking over 3 pins. She slowly went back to sit down quietly feeling quite embarassed.

-He chuckled a bit as he bowled a strike. 5 turns passed and he was dominating the game with the rest of this game and one game to go. He smiled looking.-"I guess you won't beat me after all."-He pretended to get cocky now goofing around as he either kept accidentally over throwing the ball or falling making it gutter. She caught up and beat him in the first game barely.-"Dam....it's not over."

Staci giggled when he messed up after getting cocky and said "You better pay attention or I will beat you this time"

"yeah yeah we will see."-He smiled to her and looked as the second game began.-

Staci focused really intently on the second game between them, she hadn't been joking when she had said she was going to beat him this time. She was the most determined she had ever been that this birthday was the time she was going to best him even if just by a small margin. Staci took a deep breath as she took her turn and watched the ball rolling down the alley it wasn't veering wildly this time and she stood there crossing her fingers tightly.

-He smiled as he began bowling for real as well making the game close.-"your doing good staci come on."
