It's like we're in "Braveheart" and the English have just bought off the Scottish nobles, yet again sticking it to the pauperized Scots.

So what?

Trump had Mitch's wife with working for him, where are your posts of poutrage over that?

To other who post here calling out Biden, if you want to be believed for sincerity, you best link your posts of outrage over Elaine Chao, Mitch McConnell's wife first....;)

Yeah, that's pretty disgusting. All such double dipping should be avoided. In Mitch's wife's case, she was appointed to the cabinet by two Republican presidents--Bush and Trump.

I don't doubt this is an attempt by the Biden Administration to get Joe M on board for critical votes, however if you didn't call out Trump's administration about Chao ( or Ivanka or Kushner) , then don't cast that net over Biden about Manchin.

I called out the BUSH administration's appointment of Chao. Where did you get the impression I didn't? Just because Bush and Trump did it, doesn't make it a good image when Biden does it.

I never said you did. You misinterpreted what I wrote as being about your post that I quoted.

In hindsight I could have rephrased it.

Wait. Let me make sure I'm right about this. Are the "we" you're talking about conservatives? Are you equating the status of modern "conservatives" to pauperized 14th century Scots?

Wow. You guys really are embracing this victimhood thing.

Might note that Manchin isn't looking like he's bought off. He's not falling in line.

There maybe only one yes vote on one issue needed, on the rest he can vote which ever way he wants.
