Could Iran’s 100 billion dollar gift from Biden have any thing to do with it.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration has cleared the way for the release of five American citizens detained in Iran by issuing a blanket waiver for international banks to transfer $6 billion in frozen Iranian money from South Korea to Qatar without fear of U.S. sanctions.Sep 11, 2023

US officials privately acknowledge they've gradually relaxed some enforcement of sanctions on Iranian oil sales. Tehran has restored production to the highest level since the ban kicked in five years ago and is shipping its most crude to China in a decade. Iranian officials are confident they'll pump even more soon.Aug 25, 2023

Does anyone actually believe this infusion of cash to Iran has nothing to do with this new Mid-East war.

Which is it $100bn or $6bn, your post has both figures?

The only mention of $100bn is your opening sentence.

What stance should the US take?

Side note:

The provocative actions of the Drumpf administration towards the Palestinians, along with the recent election of a far right government in Israel and Israel’s continued annexation of parts of the West Bank, are the most likely reasons for the recent violence.

Hope that ^ helps, ineedhelp1.

Biden's foreign policy is the biggest disaster of his whole presidency, especially for American taxpayers and for ordinary people in European countries. The only people who like his foreign policy are the profiteers in the military-industrial complex with their imperialism, and the deluded/ignorant liberals who think that it's all about "defending Ukraine" while people suffer poverty in NATO countries.

Should have impeached him long ago. I wonder how many Iranian terrorist are in the US thanks to Biden’s border policy.
Probably the same amount who got in under Trump and Obama. Biden hasn't made any major policy changes on the border. Besides lets be honest terrorists Iranian or otherwise are either not interested in hurting us OR are terrible at their jobs. I've seen the lines at the Apple Store when a new iPhone drops. I've been in Walmart and earlier in malls especially on Black Friday or really between Thanksgiving and a little after New Year's Eve. It would be insanely easy to hit so many targets so hard that half of us would never leave the house for anything but work.

Abraham Accords;

Key Takeaways

  • One of the most important outcomes of the Abraham Accords is the change in people-to-people relationships between the signatory countries. This last year has seen a blossoming of bilateral initiatives within the private sector and civil society, signaling approval of leaders’ decisions.
  • The geopolitical and economic benefits will have spillover effects across the region, and possibly the world. The Accords establish a foundation for peace and collaboration that can be tapped into by any country interested in cooperation.
  • The Abraham Accords can advance the two-state solution by opening channels of communications between the Arab states of the Gulf and Israel. This change will also give Palestinians, especially youth, a new opportunity to make demands from their leadership to benefit from the Accords.

Like what exactly. Didn't Hamas just launch an attack today?

Except nothing has happened....

Netanyahu, the current PM, is not a proponent of the two state solution....so how do you expect this to work????

Oh great an "opportunity"....kind of like the opportunities open to the African Americans of the 1960's eh?

Yep....it did not make the peace.

Biden should clearly have taken more money from Saudi and sold them more information, told Israel that there was no chance of the Embassy being anywhere else but Jerusalem; that would told the Palestinians who was in charge.

More hardware for the Israeli military and support for Jewish settlers to invade Palestinian farms. That would have done it.

Because of course Trump doing that totally justifies Hamas killing innocent people.
