I had a nice and quiet weekend, which was far preferable than exciting! LOL Hope you have a great week!

Happy and Monday do NOT belong in the same sentence! How could you do such a thing!

Muscle Monday? Mud-wrestling Monday? Manly Monday? ;)

I slip my sandals off in the car and anywhere else I can get away with it! I work at home, so yes, I'm barefoot. Haven't seen shoes since Friday. :D

I was wondering where you were! Thought you took a day off and went to the beach or something. :)

Remember not to use electricity near the pool....

this is thailand, the fuse box is prolly in the pool's pump. ;)

btw, i used the time to write shitloads of smut.

unless you're bored. :D

Well, cookies were mentioned about 6 posts up, but I am quite partial to cookies, especially when they're fresh and slightly soft :). Biscuits are good too though; chocolate hob-nobs go down particularly well :D

when they say cookies, they mean biscuits. them weirdos have biscuits with breakfast!

i mean, what's THAT all about?

Biscuits n gravy!!! But that's better for dinner.
Someone once told me to 'hold on whilst I get my tea from the oven'

Who puts their tea in the oven???

Ah, here we are! Morning BFG :) Do I smell coffee and cookies?

Good morning, again!! What's a hob nob? Or should I ask that on a site like this??

you sure? it's pretty ... long. *snicker* :D

THAT made me laugh!!! :D
Sure, I'll be bored later, I'll need something to entertain me. Wait, that didn't come out right.

it's waiting. don't go mad on the proof-read, just an overall view on the flavour will do, if that's okay. if you do pick up errors, well, yeah, lemme know; but i'd like to know your thoughts on the overall.

Ah ha, English-isms!! Ok, hob-nobs are a crunchy, oaty, sweet biscuit, also available half covered in chocolate :) When I worked in Derby a few years back, we'd abandon meetings if the hob-nobs ran out!!

Right, English meal times. This is where it all gets a bit confusing.

Breakfast - is breakfast. Unless it's really late, then it could be brunch.

Lunch/Dinner - Midday meal, titles are interchangeable.

Dinner/Tea - Evening meal, titles are dependant on what you had for Lunch/Dinner. If you had lunch, then you have dinner. If you had dinner, then you have Tea. Lunch is not available in the evenings. Also, dinner tends to be a bit later than tea, so if you're intending to eat late, best to have lunch at midday.

This, of course, doesn't take into account elevenses, afternoon tea, high tea, supper, or raiding the fridge for midnight snacks :D. Think I've covered everything; unless you've spotted something I've missed GA :).

Confused? Don't worry, so are we

Good point GA, saves so much confusion :D *gets map out and draws horizontal line through Watford; above line - dinner/tea: below line - lunch/dinner*

you're gunna hafta 'splain the demarcation line to the yanks. they might think the watford is a dance or summink. ;)

You both are hilarious! Yes, it was a friend in Barrow-in-Furness who said it!!
(Edit: Watford near London? So, most of England is considered Northern? And you call US yanks!)

I call it breakfast (or brunch if late morning)

Lunch/dinner

Dinner/supper

Dinner is the biggest meal of the day, no matter what time it is.
