Beyond Words

Uh, 2, actually. I've been through quite a few scrapes in my life, all of which should have killed me.

Electricity is my friend. It always has been. I conduct it quite well. :D

How did you know? I thought that was my little secret.

A little bird in Chicago told me.

Or was it the hotel manager?

:D

Hey, I was one of those little oddities. I stuck a bent wire into an outlet when I was two. I remember it well because one minute I was standing at the wall and the next I was flying through the air with the greatest of ease. I landed on the other side of the room with a plop.

It didn't hurt and I thought it was fun, so I wanted to do it again. The third time, as they say, was the charm though. That one hurt and it fried the breaker box in the basement. Oops.

That explains so much

I'm glad Sarahh started this thread downhill. If I had, I'd be getting such a PM scolding, you wouldn't believe! Now, if you don't mind, I'll take a break and clean the morning's coffee off the screen, the keyboard, the rest of the desk, my lap, etc, etc, etc.

:catroar:

In my case, the "do not enter" signs mostly worked--at least, neither of my kids ever swallowed anything that was under the sink. Now my son took a bottle of conditioner and poured it onto the bathroom carpet (why carpeting? I don't know. I was only renting the place) and I had hell and all getting it up. But that's another story.
