The calamity that is my life continues 😂

Pulled a muscle in my shoulder to point i legit worried i was having a heart attack for about 20 mins. Checked my pulse and my pallour. Theyre fine lol i did discover hiccups are the devils torture tools when i had some and my vision blacked out. Then this morning i went to use my inhaler and taking a deep breath sent it all back into spasm.

Im on pain meds and generally just swearing every time it flares. Feeling grateful that its stupid bank holiday reward for moving furniture and not worse

When o can tolerate touch again, id be happy for a good shoulder rub

Thank you sweetie. I spent the rest of my evening holding my arm across my chest..its been worse places 😂

Im feeling pretty zen about it..probs coz the painkillers are good. I dont remember getting old tho. Like old enough that you can pull a muscle and not know til it wants to fuck you up

You and I can’t seem to cut a break. I hurt my thumb last Thursday and had to get eighteen stitches. It was my left thumb and I’m left handed.

Heating pads and ice packs should help. Also hot showers.

I hear you on getting old. I can throw my back out by sneezing.
 
August is really not our month! Your poor thumb :( nearly more stitches than thumb! I hope that heals smoothly and quickly for you.

Thanks. Me too. I’ve been having to learn how to do things right handed, one handed, or just without that thumb.

Yeah, sunburns suck... if I could, I would rub lotion (lightly) all over for you. Do anything to make you feel better and kooler.

As for being thought about, oh you are definitely thought about. Sometimes in a 'oh I miss seeing her post' kind of way, sometimes in a very naughty kind of way (as I am sure you know) :devil: and sometimes in a fantasy kind of way. I do think of you ... maybe more than I should, but hey... you're pretty amazing in my opinion.

Didn’t think we have had that much sun in the UK over the last few weeks. With our weather it is more than likely rust ascuts been so wet.:D
 
Tbh i burnt less thoroughly abroad. The severity of the damage makes me think ive had some sun sensitivity from my medicine cocktail. Not even that rare a side effect of my meds. I shall just shadebathe from now on

Back in the 70’s my wife went on the contraceptive pill. After about 6 months she became allergic to the sun. Any exposed skin used to get a rash and no amount of sun screen protection helped. Even after stopping the pill, the allergy remained. Over the years it got better but never fully went away.
