Best Valentine's Day memory

Okay...I'm a little dry on ideas on what to do for the hubby for V-Day and so am shamelessly looking to all my lit buddies for ideas.

So...what's the oddest, sexiest, strangest or most memorable gift/evening/whatever your S/O did for you?

Boy, I wish I could help you out but the majority of my V-Day's have been more preoccupied with the woman's side than mine. One that sticks out in my mind is the time an old girlfriend, who hadn't the faintest idea of what a stove was, cooked me dinner. She made all the things I liked from vegetables to main course. Some of it was not cooked to perfection but what mattered to me was the effort. When I am made to believe I am truly special to the woman, that will grab my heart everytime.

I am someone who believes V-Day is more for the woman than the man. My pleasure and excitment come from giving her as best a day as I can wihin my ability.

I'm thinking of taking him to a basketball game then to Hooters. Think he'll like it?

In nearly 9 years of marriage, hubby has managed to surprise me only once (and it was a doozy!) whereas I do it to him all the time. Once, I kidnapped him from work and whisked him away for a night of fun and debauchery. THAT's how I get him to take out the trash!!

I would, I like Hooters. Taking him there should tell him that you enjoy making him happy. Letting him ogle at the girls and have his brew should go a long way to making the rest of your evening very pleasant.

Hint: When at Hooters, buy him a shirt and have the girls sign it while he wears it. Then before you leave have one of the girls put it on and you sign it. It's VERY EXCITING.
