Best Loving Wives angle?

I don't really know which of the many flavours of LW stories is most or least popular.

Nor will this poll influence what I write directly- I write what I feel. But it might inspire some reflections on my part or others which might indirectly inspire.

Or maybe I'm just bored and felt like creating a fresh thread to play in. So who else wants to play too?

Generally, the type of story I prefer is of a cheating wife. I like the idea of a happily married wife who is slowly seduced and gives into temptation semi unwillingly.

Well, after starting a new job in January, finishing a community service project (no, it wasn't court ordered), and finally finding time to visit Lit... Still gotta change the avatar. Its almost April and I've still got my Christmas AV up.

Anyway, I've been thinking along the lines of prostitution lately.
Wife realizes family needs some extra income and she earns it in bed.
Wife lets Hubby role play his fantasy of being a pimp. Except that he really pimps her out to strangers.
And one I jsut thought of...
Wife gets DUI and is ordered to do community service at a home for women. It turns out to be a home for prostitutes trying to get off the streets. But instead of helping the prostitutes, they help her get started in the business.

Yea, I know... Sick & twisted.

uh, Jen...you do know you'll get flamed and really low scores? My story " Wife's day of Escape" is my only LW story where I don't attempt to portray wife as sympathetic character ( in most, the wife, though a slut, is a heroine). I got alllll sorta weird feedback, and unusually low scoring.

What's the deal with this category? Is it quicksand for authors who want high vote totals and favorable comments? If so, why? I've never read a story in that category because it sounded boring and there are so many other categories to choose from.
What difference does it make what form the story takes if it is well written and entertaining, and why can't it incorporate any or all of the forms listed? Why would anyone flame you for giving them something to read for free in acategory that they apparently enjoy? (silly question I suppose)

In desparation, she decides to find a prostitute and ask her how she can improve her skills. The prostitute tells her that the only way to win is to practice. The wife goes home, giving her husband a great blowjob. She doesn't tell him about the $200 she made learning how to give head.

A lot of readers take offense when a wife has sex with anyone other than her husband. Maybe many of them were hurt from being cheated on. A lot of them will make comments such as "I hope she gets a disease" or "He should throw the bitch out on her ass" or "She'll rot in hell for violating her marriage vows".

The religious ones always get me. Like pre-marital sex, incest, non-consent, or homosexual are okay in their Bible.

I hope to have the story posted by the end of May. I've got a bunch of stories that I'm in the middle of.

Yes, it is quicksand and a slow and painful death. Why? No one (here, I think) knows why. The "faithful" readers of LW are odd, to say the least. It's kind of like "faithful" Anal readers may get mad if you add a M/M anal sex story to "their" category since there is a Gay Male category. Or, maybe, Fetish readers may get mad if you sneak in an incest tale...

Kind of like the bulletin boards... Sometimes you get a "clique" or some "regulars" to an area.

So, that said, the Loving Wives readers are very picky and oftentimes rude if you post the "wrong" kind of story there. They're grouchy, too. They will purposely read story themes they hate to piss themselves off and to vote down a story. Again, why? We don't know.

My cuckolding story (titled Cocoa and Cream, found on my story link below) was moved to LW by Lit when I wanted it in Fetish for the creampie angle on it. Instantly my story had several hundred views, well over 50 votes, and was in the low 2s for a score. I even had "death threats" sent anonymously (of course) in E-mail FEEDBACK. I was also called a "pathetic black man with another white woman fantasy".

I've been told my story is not like other cuckold stories on Lit. Several have said it was good, too. I think my story is proof of the wackjobs who freqent that category.

How can/do we please them? We can't/don't. The cowards won't send feedback with their user name or E-mail attatched. No way to contact them and "better ourselves as writers".

I voted "other". Maybe it was the way the choices were worded? But none of them sounded that great to me. Based on my first post to this thread, I'm trying to explore cuckold stories that are not the current cliché.

In the one I've written, the husband was wheelchair bound due to paralysis. His wife had another lover due to his encouragement, though I don't think I made that clear in the first chapter. I wanted to leave some "details blank" to see if the story could hold its own as is.

So, point is, any "fresh twist" that an author can find I'm all for!

I enjoy the LW stories where a couple goes out and plays, only with a sexual twist. I suppose it's a fairly common theme, though. It may just consist of being exhibitionistic on the wife's part, dressing sexily, or dancing with other men, or even entering one of the many wet T-shirt or bikini contests designed to get women undressed. (I've done this a couple of times but have yet to write about it).

The point is it's a "loving" relationship for both parties. And yet, the comments on LW do get pretty nasty. My stories started off with low scores, but eventually, with enough readership, climbed into the 4.5 range. I quickly learned the LW category was notorious, even though I can't explain it either.

My first stories were all in LW. They were fantasies I had of sharing my wife. My recent tale where the wife is a cheating tramp really got slagged. The truly loving ones generate both love and hate msail. Who knows?

was my first. as with most of my stories, it is in first person. read it and tell me how "loving" you find it. then read the series. oddly, nonre have scoredwell, some really poorly. They all have " Donna" in the titles. I think the complete series is 6 tales. It helps to read them in order though. Should I do the links in sequence here?

your welcome. I was unsatisfied with where I left it, but the last chapter , unlike the rest, did not write itself, and scored poorly, so I'm wondering whether further adventures would be overkill. Has the series run its course? if not, should I write about them at home, or their next vacation?

If I can't get to it later today, I plan to sit down and read 'em all together on my next day off. Maybe I can do a review on the whole series.
