Remember when you were little and you had that one friend? That one person you could tell anything to, and who knew everything in your head? I have best friends now, but it's not the same. Not like when you are young. You can conquer the world with your best friend. Okay, I'll stop now. This happens to be one of my sappier moments.

I have best friends like that now... my childhood best friend... and my newest bestest best friend... I can rule the world with them

I miss mine...I want to run around and play 'Flying Unicorn's' again and share crushes on Brad Kerr and Andy Fitz!

5th grade memoriessss.....ahhhh.....we were too sweet!

i have my best friend now who i tell everything and i do mean everything to.. (well except a few secrets others have told me..) and i am still friends with my est friend from grade school and she and my best friend are good freinds too

Sad as it may seem I never actually had a best friend like that in my childhood. I do however have one now, she has been my best friend for about 10 years now, and we know just about everything there is to know about each other. I would give my life for her, and would do anything I could possibly do to make her feel that she is loved and respected, just as she would for me.

I do however hold some things back from her (not a lot), but there is someone in my life that has taken the time to get to know the real feelings I have, what really worries me and what makes me tick, he has earned my respect, and trust, and that makes him my best friend too ... I just happen to love him :)

I met my best friend when I was 9 months old and she was three days old. We have been through everything since then. Shared, cared, cried, and played. Still my best girl friend, and I am hers. Nothing either of us wouldn't do for the other. In fact, we are so close we have been accused of being lovers because no 2 women can be that close without something going on. That might tell you about the small town we grew up in.
My best male friends are my husbands. They are the 2 greatest men in the world. I feel bad for the rest of you. I have them both. They are my ancors, my lovers, my friends, my buddies. Without them life would be barren and empty.

I really miss talking to my best friend from high school and I guess the main reason I do is because his wife just hated me for some reason and preceded to wall him off from me and the rest of the people that cared about him.

My best friend has been there for me since college. He is great, granted he has seen me naked but that was we when we were dating. Even though our relationship didn't last I wouldn't trade him for the world. He knows everything about me: good, bad, and the really scary. He probably knows more about me then I do myself. Miss him terribly since he is so far away but this computer thing is our way to keep in touch.

I've had some realy bad luck with best friends.

I had a best guy friend for about fourteen years. He was like a brother to me. The adventures we had.!! When i think
of the parties, women, the cars, the drugs; Shit how we lived through it all i'll never know.! I have only talked to him twice since nineteen eighty-six. Sadly my third x-wife played a part in in the end of our friendship. It's not that
i gave a shit because he was fucking her, Hell she had the mating habits of a goat. That's why is was my ex-wife.!
However by not letting me know about it; Along with standing beside her while she throw it in my face told me
he was no longer my friend at all. Damn, What a price to pay for a common piece of pussy.! When his wife found out it some weeks later she divorced him. My ex and his wife was best friends.

My best female friend's story is far more tragic. She was far more than just a friend. I still cannot talk about her
even to my current wife of almost nine years.
Someday i hope to be able to tell the saga. A clue can be
found if at the bottom of this page you can read something
about "the wings of an eagle." Her name is/was Lisa.

the best friend i have ever had is my wife...i pray that never comes to pass.
my best guy friend was more of a brother to me than my own brother. unfortunatly, i fell out of favor with him when my wife and i got together. she was his friend to.
Sir Nayland, where for art thou? Doc misses his buddy.

"....wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooo wonderful wino radio! wonderful wino!"

all hail the alice cooper for lunch bunch!

My very best friend moved to California a few years ago. We talk on the phone, email and I get to visit her about once a year. But, oooooooooooooooh, I miss her being around to run to the movies and get a quick drink late at night when the kids are in beds (husbands at home watching the kids of course).

I used to live in New Jersey. Since I was three I had one best friend, Beth. Unforunately, when we moved, she moved, and I lost track of her.

But now I have my other best friend... one that's been by me through thick and thin for almost fifteen years. And of course, there's MB *smooches*

I got him, and you can't have him. Neener, neener, neener!!!

*chuckles and hides*

I am an Air Force brat so I was moved around too much to have that one wonderful best friend but I found her just recently online. I even brought her to Lit. She is a wonnerful person. She listens to me when I need her to and she kicks me in the ass when I need her to do that to.

We listen to each other and joke around with each other and are just able to be our naturally crazy selfs-no pretense. I have talked to her over AIM and the phone and she is as nice IRL as she is on the computer.

Just want to say...Thanks for being there through thick and thin Imoen!

I have none of my child best friends anymore.

Only one is still around. But we kinda grew apart. And the rest is either living in some other country, or is dead.

I had a series of "best friends" when I was young - sadly, they kept moving away on me. I kept in touch with the one I had when I was 12 for years, but we eventually found that we really have nothing in common anymore and felt more and more like strangers whenever we did get together.

I'm still in occasional contact with my best friend from high school, but we'll never be as close as we once were.

My best friend now, I met in my first year at university. She's really wonderful, and I absolutely adore her, but there are certain things I'm not comfortable talking about with her for various reasons. She gets only very edited versions of my love/sex life, for example.

The funniest thing is that whever we go out shopping or something together, people ask if we're sisters because we look so much alike. We've even been asked TWICE if we're twins. Bizarre!

Actually I grew up with a group of friends. Unfortunately life happened and well things did not go as we planned when we were kids. Two of them are dead, another 1 in jail, 2 of them moved to other side of the country and one of them turned on me and stabbed me in the back. Now there are only 3 of us left. My lil brother and my best friend.

I do not keep too many really close friends because I kinda have trust issues and I am kinda quiet when it comes to people I do not know too well. I guess I was destined to be a lonely person.

I miss my childhood friend. Sadly she died when she was 14. When we were together all I can remember doing was laughing and getting into huge amounts of mischief. I miss her.
