Best butt plug for during sex?

My husband and I both enjoy anal play but the couple of butt plugs that we've used (slender and smooth) slide out during sex. Any recommendations on plugs that will stay put during some pretty rambunctious sex sessions? We're not looking for anything too large, either.

You may want to take a break from the anal play for a while. If you or your husbands ass is so blown out that a butt plug isn't big enough it may be time for a break. Sometimes logic is the best answer to questions.

Right, because that's what I said. Neither of us is into plugs larger than 1"-1.25" and most that are that size seem to made more for just play rather than staying put during sex. I'm asking if anyone has tried plugs that will stay in place during sex but aren't much larger than 1-1.25".

My asshole is so tight that even a thimble would stay in the whole time it took me to run a marathon. Just saying...

Rectal prolapse (rectal procidentia) refers to a medical condition where a section of the wall of the rectum prolapses (falls down) from the normal anatomical position with associated pelvic floor dysfunction. This may occur while straining to defecate, or during rest.

Used unqualified, the term rectal prolapse often is used synonymously with complete rectal prolapse (external rectal prolapse), where the rectal walls have prolapsed to a degree where they protrude out the anus and are visible outside the body.[1] However, most researchers agree that there are 3 to 5 different types of rectal prolapse, depending on if the prolapsed section is visible externally, and if the full or only partial thickness of the rectal wall is involved.[2][3]

Rectal prolapse may occur without any symptoms, but depending upon the nature of the prolapse there may be mucous discharge (mucus coming from the anus), rectal bleeding, degrees of fecal incontinence and obstructed defecation symptoms.[4]

Rectal prolapse is generally more common in elderly women, although it may occur at any age and in both sexes. It is very rarely life threatening, but the symptoms can be debilitating if left untreated.[4] Most external prolapse cases can be treated successfully, often with a surgical procedure. Internal prolapses are traditionally harder to treat and surgery may not be suitable for many patients.

Madison,

I would suggest you try the Ryder, Tulip, or Infinity plugs from Tantus.

Good quality (silicone) sturdy plugs that are not too big. They don't have that smooth flare / slope between the base and the plug that you see on most plugs.
Easily inserted after some gentle warm up (actually, that reminds me... drop these in a cup of hot water to warm them up before insertion. Toe curling potential).

They have stayed nicely in place, even during sex of the rambunctious variety.

Can be found in sex toy shops that carry better quality (not just jelly novelty crap) tickle-trunk supplies, or you can purchase online at tantusinc dot com.

And to add, a butt plug that is smaller in circ that the average turd, is very unlikely to cause any issues of continance or prolapse.

Getting pregnant can cause both, so what is a person to do? ;)

Im glad that a qualified doctor chimed in.

I can recommend the Njoy Pure plug. Its large head and skinny neck stays in securely. The sensation is different than the plugs that Emerson40 recommended.

It is a little expensive and comes in various sizes. Best part is its easy to keep clean.

There is one my other half and I have that inflates to keep it in place. We found it in the m4m part of our adult stores. Hope that helps.

You definitely want something with a wider head and narrow neck as that will help. I'd also recommend the njoy plugs if you're into steel (or haven't tried it). However, there are definitely plenty of options in different materials.
