What's The Best Advice You Have Ever Received??

Mine was from my Dad. Two pieces actually.

First -

Son, throughout your life there are gonna be times when women become mad at you. No matter who's fault, they will be mad at you. Now - they will either get over it, or they won't. And there ain't a DAMN thing you can do about it!!

Second -

Women don't give a shit what you're doing, as long as you ain't having any fun. They think you're having fun mowing the grass, they'll bring ya into the house to scrub out the tub.

Kind of tongue-in-cheek, but some truth value.

What's your best received advice??

1) Don't fuck up your health, your driving record, or your credit. (dad)

2) Pick your own battles. (dad)

I don't know why I took those words to heart.

But seriously...... probably read everything you can, even the stuff you hate. You may learn something anyways.
